[Update #2]: Apex Legends' Season 13 is adding Bangalore's brother and sprucing up the Storm Point map.
[Update]: The Warriors update has now arrived, and it has also brought with it a native version of Apex Legends for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
As a part of the recent Season 12 - Defiance update, Apex Legends added Control as a brand new and limited-time game mode. Control is essentially 9v9 team deathmatch where you have to fight over three control points scattered across the map, and it serves as a pretty good middleground between the Battle Royale and Arena modes.
One day we'll hopefully see Control added as a proper game mode, but for the time being I'm happy to say that it will be returning as a limited-time event alongside the Warriors update on March 29th. And just to spice things up a bit, the Caustic Treatment area from Kings Canyon will also be getting converted into a Control map with a bunch of new ziplines and other mobility tools to play around with!

[Update]: After a small delay, Diablo 2: Resurrected's Patch 2.4 has now been unleashed.
In an effort to increase the amount of endgame viable builds, as well as to make messing around with new characters a more enjoyable time, the Diablo 2 Resurrected team is currently getting ready to release the chunky Patch 2.4. Unfortunately, instead of the update launching later this month as previously announced, Patch 2.4 has now been delayed until April 14th.
"So, what happened here? As you may recall, we have been working through extensive updates on the backend and database services for the game," explains the developer update. "Last week, we had some extended downtime for D2R which was to implement the final batch of changes from our PTR to our production environments. During this update, we unfortunately ran into quite a few showstoppers that did not appear on PTR but were present in production environments."

Continuing on with the same theme as The Evil Within, Tango Gameworks' freshly released Ghostwire: Tokyo is a horror focused action game. It'll task you with exploring a variety of supernaturally infested locations all throughout Tokyo, fighting an assortment of demons and spirits inspired by Japanese mythology, as well as with figuring out just what in the world is happening before things get really out of hand.
You can get a pretty good idea of what all of this looks like in action, as well as what sort of atmosphere Ghostwire: Tokyo is going for, through the recently posted trailer. Have a peek:

[Update #2]: Dota 2's "larger than normal" Patch 7.31d will be launching on June 8th, 2022.
[Update]: Dota 2's Patch 7.31c has toned down annoying heroes like Primal Beast and Death Prophet.
As a part of the recent and rather massive Update 7.31 Dota 2 added the Primal Beast as a new hero, reworked Techies into more of a classic support, completely changed how all of the jungle creeps act, as well as tweaked a whole bunch of heroes and items. Unfortunately, the update also brought with it some rather unwelcome guests - heaps of bugs!
So in order to sort out these fresh new problems, as well as to finally implement some quality-of-life changes the community has been asking for literal years, Valve has now unleashed the appropriately titled Spring Cleaning 2022 update. Unsurprisingly, there's a whole category dedicated to Rubick alone!

[Update]: It's official, Fortnite has made the "Zero Build" mode a permanent new addition.
As a part of a recent and absolutely bizarre storyline, Fortnite removed the ability to build things in its default game mode. I fully expected this to be a small experiment that might eventually lead to an additional 'no builds' game mode, but as it turns out, that one might be coming sooner than expected!
While no official announcement has been made just yet, multiple dataminers have discovered numerous references to 'no builds' modes in Fortnite's files. So if you're a fan of looking at landscapes uncluttered by massive fortresses, you'll be happy to hear that the 'no builds' setting will likely be made available for solos, duos, trios and squads!

[Update #2]: The April 2022 Streets of New Capenna set is all about demons, gangsters and demon gangsters.
[Update]: MTG Arena's April 7th Alchemy update will buff Elves, Warriors and Equipment.
After releasing two fairly small content updates for the new and digital-only Alchemy format, Wizards of the Coast is now looking to take things to the next level. As such, once it arrives this July the Alchemy Horizons: Baldur's Gate set will bring with it hundreds of new cards to play around with, a new draft environment to explore, as well as the first non-Standard Mastery Pass.
While the exact contents of Alchemy Horizons: Baldur's Gate have not been revealed just yet, you can expect to see an assortment of cards directly taken from Commander Legends: Battle at Baldur's Gate, a bunch of cards from the same set digitally rebalanced for 1v1 play, as well as brand new Dungeons & Dragons themed cards. Similarly the list of formats hasn't been announced yet, but I think it's safe to say these cards will be legal in Alchemy, Historic and Historic Brawl.

Inspired by Borderlands 2's highly popular DLC Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, the freshly released Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is a ridiculously over-the-top homage to the RPG genre. It brings with it six character classes that you can mix and match talents from, a world filled with treasure chests to pillage and quests to complete, mountains upon mountains of procedurally generated weapons, and naturally, a whole host of fantasy monsters to clobber over and over again.
What all of this looks like in actual gameplay, that you can get a pretty good idea of through the remarkably lengthy developer preview below. Have a gander:

[Update]: Lego Bricktales has now arrived, and there's even a free demo available!
After playing around with bridges for more than a decade at this point, it look like the ClockStone team has decided to aim a little bit higher with their next game. So instead of simply constructing ramshackle bridges that stand only on faith alone, you'll soon be able to create even more elaborate monstrosities in the freshly announced Lego Bricktales!
As the name might suggest, Lego Bricktales will be a story focused adventure that will have you solve a wide variety of puzzles by building an assortment of Lego contraptions, brick by brick. And yes, some of those puzzles will indeed task you with making a Lego bridge!

[Update #2]: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has arrived, and it's thankfully not a disaster.
[Update]: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been delayed yet again, this time until February 2nd, 2024.
If you were hoping to get your hands on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League at some point this year as previously announced, I'm afraid I have some bad news. According to Rocksteady's Creative Director and co-founder Sefton Hill, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has now been pushed back all the way to Spring 2023.
"We've made the difficult decision to delay Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League to Spring 2023. I know a delay is frustrating but that time is going into making the best game we can," explains the brief update. "I look forward to bringing the chaos to Metropolis together. Thanks for your patience."

[Update]: The Microsoft Flight Simulator series is celebrating its 40th anniversary this November alongside a big update that will add helicopters, gliders and more!
Ever since its launch, the Microsoft Flight Simulator team has been releasing frequent updates in order to further flesh out certain regions and countries. Back in January they spruced up the entirety of Australia, and now it's time for Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar and Andorra to get a fresh coat of paint.
You can expect to see a variety of visual improvements based on real world data, four handcrafted airports, nearly a hundred new points of interest to explore, as well as a bunch of enhancements for major cities like Lisbon and Madrid. And just to spice things up, there's also four new discovery flights, five new landing challenges, and the usual assortment of bug fixes.
