If you're familiar with Friday the 13th: The Game or Predator: Hunting Grounds, then you pretty much already know what to expect from IllFonic's freshly announced Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed. It's going to be a four vs one multiplayer game where a team of ghostbusters needs to track down and capture a powerful and malicious ghost controlled by the fifth player.
In order to do so the ghostbusters will need to carefully comb through locations like the prison, hotel or museum with their PKE meters to locate the ghost, after which they'll need to subdue it through the use of classic tools like the proton pack or ghost trap. The dastardly ghost on the other hand will be able to summon minions, possess objects and phase through walls, all in an effort to dodge the ghostbusters and eventually force them to retreat by making the location too haunted.

[Update #2]: ArenaNet has now detailed the massive class balance update slated for June 28th, 2022.
[Update]: Guild Wars 2's return to Living World Season 1 episodes will be starting on April 19th, 2022.
Guild Wars 2's End of Dragons expansion has arrived only a short while ago, but already it has managed to establish itself as a massive success. Not only has it outsold the previous Path of Fire expansion in a mere few weeks, but Guild Wars 2's playerbase has also more than doubled over the course of the past three years!
So in order to celebrate these achievements, as well as to give everyone something exciting to look forward to, ArenaNet has now revealed their plans for Guild Wars 2's future. These include some expected things like content updates, festivals and bug fixes, but also a rather surprising announcement - there will be a fourth expansion at some point in the future!

[Update #2]: World of Warcraft is finally adding cross-faction dungeons and PvP with Update 8.2.5 this June 1st, 2022!
[Update]: World of Warcraft's Dragonflight expansion has been announced alongside a draconic class/race combo - the Dracthyr Evoker.
World of Warcraft's biggest problem, and one that WoW Classic has only managed to slightly solve, is the sheer amount of old and unused content from previous expansions. There's hundreds of quality dungeons and raids present in the game, yet aside from players hunting down the occasional cosmetic item, most of that content is completely ignored since the focus is placed solely on the few new raids and dungeons that have arrived with the latest expansion.
So in an effort to utilize some of this old content, Blizzard has now announced that Shadowlands' Season 4 will bring with it a bunch of new additions to the Mythic+ dungeon pool, while the Shadowlands raids will be retooled with new and more challenging mechanics to help keep them fresh. Here's the brief list showing off which eight dungeons will be a part of Season 4:

In an effort to spice up New World's endgame, Amazon Games have now announced a series of major updates that will be arriving throughout 2022. The first of these, Heart of Madness, will be launching later this March with a new storyline to explore, the Tempest's Heart Expedition to struggle against, 3v3 PvP Arenas, a PvP Reward Track, and most excitingly of all, a new blunderbuss weapon!
Much of this is currently available on the test servers, so if you want to dive into the new content ahead of time and see what's what, simply download the separate PTR client and you'll be good to go. Before you do so, it's worth mentioning that your progress on the test servers will not carry over, so once the Heart of Madness finally arrives you'll have to start right back from the beginning alongside everyone else.

[Update #2]: CD Projekt Red has announced that there is a new Cyberpunk 2077 sequel in the works, along with numerous new Witcher games and even a brand new IP!
[Update]: It looks like CD Projekt Red has kept them selves quite busy! In addition to the new Witcher and Gwent games, they have now announced a new Cyberpunk 2077 expansion, as well as a spin-off game.
With the launch of The Witcher 3's final expansion Blood and Wine CD Projekt Red finally gave Geralt a well deserved happy ending. Yet despite the main storyline being wrapped up, they left themselves open to the idea of revisiting The Witcher universe at some point in the future, though with different characters and locations to explore.
Quite a few years have gone by since then, but I'm very happy to say that 'some point in the future' has now arrived as a currently unnamed The Witcher 4 has just been announced! Similarly, the gameplay details are completely nonexistent, but what I can tell you is that The Witcher 4 will be a massive open-world game built in Unreal Engine 5.

In celebration of the series' 35th anniversary, Square Enix and Team Ninja have now unleashed the appropriately strange Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin. Instead of sticking with the usual JRPG turn-based combat, Stranger of Paradise is more of a Souls-like action-RPG somewhat similar to the Nioh series.
What this means in gameplay terms is that you have a variety of different moves and abilities to play around with, enemy attacks that deal a hefty chunk of damage but are completely avoidable with skillful play, as well as a whole host of items and gear to collect in order to help customize your playstyle. As for what this looks like in action, that you can find out through one of the trailers below:

[Update]: Voyage to the Sunken City has now arrived alongside some spicy changes to the Core Set.
As a part of a recent teaser Blizzard announced that they would have some exciting news for Hearthstone in the near future. Well, I'm happy to say they weren't joking. Not only is the upcoming Voyage to the Sunken City looking quite exciting with its focus on gigantic creatures, but the expansion will also be accompanied by a set rotation and revamp of the Core Set!
While the details on the rotation and the Core Set changes are still nonexistent, you can get a bit of an idea of the sort of themes the Hearthstone team is going for with the Voyage to the Sunken City expansion through the freshly posted and refreshingly unique trailer. Have a gander:

[Update]: Ghostwire: Tokyo has now arrived for PC and PS5, and so far it looks like it's following in the footsteps of The Evil Within 1 and 2.
Much like Tango Gameworks previous two games, Ghostwire: Tokyo is an action focused horror game that's all about standing firm against the unknown. In other words, Ghostwire: Tokyo will have you explore surreal versions of iconic Tokyo locations, fight against an assortment of spirits and other supernatural threats, as well as hopefully figure out just what in the world is even happening around you.
What all of this looks like in action, that you can get a bit of a sneak peek at through the recently posted trailer. Have a gander, it's quite an interesting one visually:

Just like the rest of the series, Syberia: The World Before is a point & click adventure game with a heavy focus on storytelling, along with the occasional puzzle to help keep things interesting. Syberia: The World Before does diverge from its predecessors, however, by giving you control over two different characters in two different time periods in order to offer you a better perspective on the world as a whole.
It's also worth mentioning that Syberia: The World Before is the last game the series' original creator Benoît Sokal worked on before passing away last year. So while he sadly never got to see it finished, his touch is definitely present within Syberia: The World Before.

[Update #2]: In celebration of the series' seventh anniversary, Fatshark is both giving away Vermintide 2 and unleashing a brand new map for us to explore!
[Update]: Vermintide 2's June 14th, 2022 update will add Be'lakor's presence to the rogue-like Chaos Wastes.
As a part of its fourth anniversary celebration, Vermintide 2 has now released a gigantic update! The rather plainly named Patch 4.6 brings with it a whole host of quality-of-life improvements based on popular mods, a bunch of bug fixes and balance changes, as well as reworks to Kerillian's Shade and Sister of the Thorn careers to round everything out.
Instead of the previous incarnation that was all about going into stealth and stabbing enemies directly in their face, the newly reworked Shade is more of an assassin that's all about evasion and striking from behind. On the other hand, the Sister of the Thorn has lost some of its impressive damage output in exchange for powerful debuffs and greater control over the flow of combat. Needless to say, any tweaks that makes the careers more distinct and interesting is a positive one!
