[Update]: Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time has just landed onto PC and consoles!
It has been a fair few years since the series concluded, but Samurai Jack will soon be back for yet another battle against Aku! You can expect to see the Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time action-adventure this August 21st on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Switch.
As you might imagine, Battle Through Time will have you explore and ransack a variety of locations spanning across both time and space, team up with some of the fan-favorite characters from the show, and naturally, toy around with over a dozen different weapons and accompanying skills. Perhaps most importantly, at least as far as authenticity is concerned, the original voice-actors will be reprising their roles!

[Update #2]: The latest patch has brought in experimental Assault (2CP) changes and Genji nerfs.
[Update]: Overwatch devs are looking to rework Moira and slightly nerf Genji.
In an bit of an usual developer update, the Overwatch team has now released a rather lengthy behind-the-scenes look at what exactly goes into creating a game like Overwatch. More specifically, what it's like to work with the Overwatch engine, as well as what they needed to do with all of their tools in order to make things flow as smoothly as possible.
There's no easy way to summarize this, so if you're curious, you can find the full blog post over at the Overwatch website. But for now, here's a couple of quotes to potentially pique your interest:

[Update]: The original Titanfall has now finally (and rather suddenly) landed onto Steam.
After years of exclusivity, EA has recently started moving a whole bunch of their games over to Steam. As such, it should come as very little surprise to hear that the still-popular Star Wars - The Old Republic MMORPG has now made its way to Steam as well.
As is tradition with pretty much every Steam game, SWTOR brings with it trading cards, special emoticons, profile backgrounds, and in a future update, a variety of achievements. Also, if you already own a SWTOR account, worry not as your progress will fully carry over to the Steam version and vice versa.

[Update]: The beta update has now been released in full, though sadly without the Huntsman rework.
Out of all the ranged classes in the Vermintide 2, the Huntsman is currently the only one without a clear identity. On paper he's supposed to be the heavy-hitter, the one that can clean out an entire patrol full of Chaos Warriors without breaking a sweat. In reality, however, the whole career is a bit of an unfocused mess with talents dragging it in entirely different directions.
In order to correct this, as well as make the Huntsman a lot more fun to play, Fatshark has now reworked some of its core talents and mechanics as a part of the upcoming Big Balance update. First and foremost, the Huntsman now has a brand new passive ability that makes it so every 50 meters traveled gives him a stack of Sure Shot that makes the next ranged hit count as a headshot.

[Update #2]: Latest Valorant update has nerfed Sage and Killjoy, as well as once again buffed Viper!
[Update]: The newest patch has added Agent Killjoy, deathmatch, and Raze nerfs!
While she is thematically one of the more interesting characters in Valorant, Viper was unfortunately far too weak to see any sort of serious play up to this point. Even after her recent buffs, she still remained at the very bottom in terms of both pickrate and winrate.
In order to correct this, as well as make her a lot more terrifying to play against, Riot has now unleashed yet another round of buffs. Her ultimate has received a variety of improvements that make it far more deadly to enter, the decay you suffer while huffing her poisons has been boosted up, and most importantly of all, using both her Posion Cloud and Toxic Screen abilities now no longer drains extra fuel!

[Update]: Rocket League has gone free-to-play alongside a major new update.
If you were planning to grab Rocket League at some point in the near future, you might want to reconsider. I say this because Psyonix has just announced that Rocket League will be going fully free-to-play later this summer!
Naturally, everyone who already owns it will retain their items and will be able to continue playing on their preferred platform. As an additional bonus, anyone who plays Rocket League online before the upcoming free-to-play launch will be granted all of the Rocket League branded DLC, as well as a variety of assorted cosmetics to help distinguish them from complete newcomers.

[Update]: After seven years, Dota 2's Diretide event has now made a triumphant return.
If you ever feel like you need to take a little break between the fairly stressful ranked Dota 2 matches, the newly added Aghanim’s Labyrinth should do quite nicely. It's essentially a cooperative roguelike mode where you and your allies have to face off against a variety of escalating challenges, all the while unlocking both permanent and temporary buffs to help spice things up.
As for what exactly you're even trying to accomplish, as well as what the legendary Aghanim is even like, that you'll find out through the rather lovely cinematic trailer. Have a peek:

[Update #2]: Ubisoft's Watch Dogs Legion has now been unleashed onto PC and consoles.
[Update]: Ubisoft has detailed the PC system requirements for Watch Dogs: Legion.
The progression of the Watch Dogs series has been quite interesting to follow. The original attempted to have a somewhat realistic and down-to-earth tone, while its sequel opted for a more colorful and action-orientated approach. Now, the upcoming Watch Dogs: Legion is taking things even further, so much so that it's starting to look like a Saint's Row game more than anything else!
However, don't take that as a negative comment since Watch Dogs: Legion does actually look quite interesting! If you're curious just why that is the case, you'll find your answers through the recently posted gameplay preview. Have a look:

[Update]: The Scholomance Academy expansion has now arrived alongside a whole bunch of new cards.
I hope you're ready for a bit of a meta shake-up, because Hearthstone's next expansion Scholomance Academy is just around the corner! You can expect to see it in early August alongside an assortment of dual-class cards, a brand new Spellburst keyword that activates once you cast a spell, and as you might imagine given the name, a whole bunch of assorted magical shenanigans!
As is tradition, the expansion announcement was accompanied by a rather musical cinematic trailer. And don't worry about things turning too dark as Blizzard has gone for a more cheery Scholomance of the past, rather than the grim and dreary one we currently have in World of Warcraft. Anyway, have a look:
