[Update]: Newest Valorant update has nerfed Sage and Killjoy, as well as finally buffed the Vandal!

After briefly teasing her a few days ago, Valorant devs have now unleashed the very first post-launch Agent - Killjoy. The German robotics expert brings with her an automated turret, an alarm-bot to help secure flanks, as well as a remotely detonated bomb that deals a considerable amount of damage over time. Perhaps most interestingly of all, her ultimate is a device that takes a long time to get going, but once it fires its pulse, every enemy within range will lose the ability to do anything other than scurry away in fear!

You can get a pretty good idea of what all of this looks in gameplay terms through the recently posted Agent trailer. Have a gander, Killjoy is certainly an odd one:

Additionally, this update has also added free-for-all deathmatch as an experimental, beta game mode. It'll be going live at some point today, and once it does, ten players will be chucked into a map with free armor, a choice of weapons, and absolutely no abilities to get in the way of those sweet, sweet duels. So if you ever wanted to get some aim practice done, the new deathmatch mode is going to be a pretty good option.

There's also a whole bunch of bug fixes, quality of life improvements, and even Raze nerfs to delight in. To learn more, as well as dive into Killjoy's abilities, you should head on over to the official website. Have fun!
