Scott Cawthon, the creator of FNaF World, has pulled his latest RPG game from Steam due to negative feedback

If you haven't been following the story, Five Nights at Freddy's themed RPG FNaF World showed up on Steam a full month before its official release date in a rather unfinished state which resulted in so many complaints Scott Cawthon, the creator of the FNaF franchise, went on to publicly apologize for it.

And Scott, being the stand up guy that he is, simply couldn't continue selling FNaF World amidst so many complaints so he has pulled the game from Steam and offered full refunds to everyone, regardless of time played. Here's the announcement message:

Mighty No. 9 has been delayed a third time

Oh how things have changed. Back when Mighty No. 9's Kickstarter first launched everyone was excited about the prospect of a new Megaman game without any corporate nonsense blocking its development and now, three delays and a heavily mismanaged campaign later, most of that excitement has turned to doubt and anger.

Mighty No. 9 was supposed to launch this February 9th but due to problems with the network modes and porting to various platforms its being delayed until Spring 2016. Here's what Keiji Inafune, the main man behind the game, had to say about the delay:

World's Dawn is a Harvest Moon inspired life sim

The Harvest Moon series has always been an oddity for me. I'm the type of person that enjoys high-paced competitive games yet for some reason I've spent far more hours than I am willing to admit tending to my farm and raising innumerable hordes of chickens.

There aren't many life sim games on the PC, if there are any at all, so I'm really happy to tell you that World's Dawn, a Harvest Moon inspired life sim, is making its way to Steam today (January 25th). Here's the trailer:

Yandere Simulator has recently been banned from Twitch for unknown reasons

If this is your first time hearing about it, Yandere Simulator is a bit of an insane upcoming game where you take control of a psychotic schoolgirl who has a crush on a fellow student and will do anything to ensure that he doesn't end up with any other girl. In essence its a hitman game, just with a lot more schoolgirls and torture.

The reason I'm mentioning Yandere Simulator now is because it recently got banned from Twitch, one of the rare few games that ever got that sort of treatment. And according to a video posted by the main developer himself he can't even get a response from Twitch on the issue. Here's the video:

Blizzard has released a video on the upcoming new skins and heroes

A short while ago Blizzard first announced the two upcoming Diablo themed heroes, Xul the Necromancer (pictured above) from Diablo 2 and Li Ming the Wizard from Diablo 3.

Even though I expected the two heroes to be showcased not too long after the announcement I'm surprised to see that their character models and abilities (in Li Ming's case) are already finished. Take a look for yourself:

OpenMW project aims to recreate Morrowind's dated engine in order to add new features and better mod support

The OpenMW project has been in development for quite a while now but only with the recent release of update 0.38 did I learn of its existence and rather noble purpose.

OpenMW is a modern open source engine which aims to reimplement and extend various features present in the original Morrowind engine in order to improve upon both the game and its mod support. As of right now its still under heavy development but through frequent and extensive updates OpenMW is getting closer to its vision with every passing month.

Here's a bit more information on the project and what it aims to accomplish before its 1.0 release:

Arcen Games' Roguelite/SHMUP is now out on Steam with full mod support and lots of content

Starward Rogue is a roguelite/SHMUP (shoot 'em up) hybrid with hundreds of items & enemies, randomized level layouts and many bosses to fight. Most importantly, it has full mod support allowing you to either customize the game or simply take it upon yourself to add more content to it.

I'm a big fan of the roguelike genre so I tend to keep an eye on upcoming games but even to me Starward Rogue's release was a complete surprise. Since it really does look interesting I figured I would share a bit of information on it with you, starting with the trailer:

Overkill's The Walking Dead is being delayed due to an increase in scope and project size

Overkill's The Walking Dead is a co-op shooter with stealth elements set in the currently absurdly popular zombie universe that was until recently slated for a 2016 release.

However, after a recent partnership between Starbreeze and the Chinese company Smilegate The Walking Dead has been delayed due to an increase in planned content as well as the development of an Asian version. Here's the full announcement:

Endless Legend Shifters expansion is coming in April

[Update]: Amplitude has released new information and a couple of screenshots for Endless Legend: Shifters, which has now been confirmed for April 7.

If this is your first time hearing about Endless Legend it is a 4X turn-based strategy game in vein of the Civilization series but with much more diverse factions and interesting game world. Even on launch there was plenty of content to enjoy but many updates and even an expansion later and Endless Legend is now brimming with things to do and peoples to conquer.

And according to a recent Twitch stream celebrating "Endless Day" its set to become even better as a new expansion titled Shifters is set to arrive on April 2016. The developers Amplitude didn't release much about the expansion but here's what we do know:

Five Nights at Freddy's creator apologizes over FNaF World

Despite being a month too early Five Nights at Freddy's themed RPG FNaF World materialized itself on Steam yesterday and drew more than fair share of criticism over bugs and missing content.

A short while late Scott Cawthon, the creator of the entire FNaF franchise, came out and apologized over releasing the game far too early, even for his standards. Here's the message:
