Trackmania Turbo was originally set to arrive in November or December of 2015 but Ubisoft opted to delay the game in order to ensure its quality.

And after a couple of months of waiting we now finally have the official release date, March 25th. Along with this announcement came a gravity-defying gameplay trailer, have a look:

As someone that only ever played Trackmania casually this looks like more of the same, though perhaps with the spectacle level turned up a couple of notches. Even though that might sound like a complaint I'm quite happy that Trackmania is sticking to its roots because there are plenty of other racing games out there, but none make you feel as awesome as Trackmania does.

And speaking of awesome, Trackmania actually allows you to play in local co-op, even on the PC! Now that is something you don't see every day, or well... ever.

Trackmania will be arriving for the PC, Xbox One and PS4 this March 25th and will set you back $40 / €36. Hurrah for someone realizing that $ does not equal €.
