If you haven't touched Hearthstone in a while, or if you're mostly a Constructed player, you might want to go and give the Arena mode another chance as the new Taverns of Time special event is quite an enjoyable one. It has brought with it 28 new and rather ridiculous cards to toy around with, cards that have completely reshuffled the balance of power among the heroes.

The addition of overpowered cards might sound like a bad thing, and to be perfectly honest I can definitely see myself agreeing with that viewpoint, but thankfully this whole event and its cards will only remain active for a couple of weeks, until July 2nd. So while the new cards may completely reshape the Arena landscape, at least you can rest easy with the knowledge that next month they'll be well and truly gone. Until then, however, I would highly recommend embracing the nonsense and just having a bit of fun with the significantly increased power levels.

Vermintide 2's Update 1.1 brought with it an absolute ton of new cosmetics, daily quests, achievements with actually interesting rewards, as well as significantly improved crafting speeds. While all of that was and still is a great addition, the update unfortunately also brought with it the now infamous "Error 1342" which would frequently kick players out of the game while crafting, completing levels, or sometimes even simply logging in.

With that in mind, I'm very happy to announce that Fatshark has now finally identified and corrected the issue. In other words, you can now craft as quickly as you want without having to constantly restart the game! That said, I would advise against re-rolling Charms right now because there appears to be a bug that prevents them from gaining the extremely valuable Skaven+Chaos damage combination.

Quake Champions close quarters combat screenshot

If you have an itch only oldschool Arena shooters can scratch, you should probably go visit a doctor, but before you do you also might want to check out Quake Champions as it's completely free to grab until June 18th. Simply head on over to Steam, click on that shiny green "Install Game" button, and you'll be gibbing enemies in no time.

Perhaps most importantly of all, if you log in before the June 18th deadline you will be able to keep playing even after the free weekend is over. From what I can figure out you'll still need to either purchase or grind out all of the additional characters, but as far as getting a taste of what Quake Champions has to offer, this free trial is most certainly a good start.

The Elder Scrolls VI official artwork from the trailer

Well, I've got some good news and some bad news. The good news is that Bethesda has finally stopped re-releasing Skyrim in order to start working on The Elder Scrolls VI. The bad news, as you might guess from the title alone, is that it's currently very early in development and likely a few years off.

Right now there are absolutely no details to comb over, but what I can show you is the recently posted teaser trailer. I believe it shows off the region of Highrock, though given that my TES lore is a bit rusty you might want to take that with a few grains of salt. Either way, here's the rather lovely video:

Close up screenshot of our protagonist from Gears of War 5

Microsoft has gone all out with Gears of War announcements during this year's E3. Not only have they unveiled Gears of War 5 as a new mainline game, but they have also announced two spin-off games: Gears Pop, a mobile-only game, and Gears Tactics, a potentially quite interesting strategy game.

Very few details are available about the latter two, but what I can tell you about Gears of War 5 is that it will be the biggest Gears game created so far, while also being able to run in 4K resolution at a smooth 60 frames per second. Technical stuff aside, you might be more interested to hear that Gears of War 5 will have both online and local split-screen co-op for every game mode. Now that is a welcome feature!

Just Cause 4 official artwork showing an absolute ton of explosions

This shouldn't come as too much of a surprise given that its existence was leaked about a week ago, but Just Cause 4 has now been officially announced. There are currently very few details to comb over, but what you can expect to see is a fully customizable grappling hook, an improved wingsuit, some rather extreme weather conditions as noted in the trailer, and naturally, a whole bunch of completely unjustified chaos directed at everyone not-you shaped.

You can get a bit of a sneak peek at what Just Cause 4 is going to look like in-game through the recently posted and excessively explosive announcement trailer. It's not very long, but I'd say it's still well worth a look. Have a gander:

Shadow of the Tomb Raider screenshot of a rather aggressive Lara Croft

Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be coming this September 14th for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, bringing with it a much more badass version of Lara. Perhaps more interestingly, we will be moving away from some fairly nondescript locations into quite literally the Mayan apocalypse, with all of the madness and lovely imagery such an event might bring.

If you're curious about what all of this looks like in gameplay terms, allow me to share with you the recently posted E3 trailer. It features a bit too many cuts for my liking, but it should still give you a good idea of what to expect from Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Have a look:

Screenshot of the skateboarding sim Session

While most people have been expecting Skate 4, Microsoft has decided to take things in a bit of a different direction by announcing the fairly realistic skateboarding sim Session. According to the brief description, Session is all "all about authenticity and creativity", and as such players won't have to worry about how many points their tricks are going to be worth. Instead, what they should worry about is whether or not they're even capable of landing those tricks in the first place given that Session will have a unique control scheme that "gives players full control".

If you're curious, you can get a glimpse of Session in-game through the recently posted E3 trailer. Have a gander, it's well worth a minute if you're into skateboarding games:

Screenshot of three characters from Ubisoft's The Division

While the original The Division launched as a bit of a mess, Ubisoft did not abandon it. Instead, they continued to support it to this very day, with the end result being a much different and much more enjoyable version of The Division. With that in mind, I am happy to announce that The Division 2 has now been officially revealed alongside a lengthy gameplay preview.

So if you're interested in what The Division 2 has to offer and where exactly it differs from the original, you'll find two of the recent trailers down below. The first one is a brief story trailer setting up Washington D.C. and the new threat, while the second one is an overly choreographed but still enjoyable gameplay preview. Have a look:

Screenshot of Terry Crews from the upcoming Crackdown 3

After being delayed time and time again, Crackdown 3 appears to have finally been pinned down to a February 2019 release date for both PC and Xbox One. Once it arrives you can expect to see a futuristic and truly massive open-world, a whole host of unique and interesting weapons, and apparently Terry Crews himself using said weapons to unleash a torrent of destruction!

If you think I'm making some sort of joke that's going over your head, rest assured that I am 100% serious. As it turns out, in Crackdown 3 we will be playing as Terry Crews whose playing as Commander Jaxon! Since I'm sure some of you are still think I'm yanking your chain, allow me to show you the recently posted E3 trailer. It's quite something!
