Screenshot of three characters from Ubisoft's The Division

While the original The Division launched as a bit of a mess, Ubisoft did not abandon it. Instead, they continued to support it to this very day, with the end result being a much different and much more enjoyable version of The Division. With that in mind, I am happy to announce that The Division 2 has now been officially revealed alongside a lengthy gameplay preview.

So if you're interested in what The Division 2 has to offer and where exactly it differs from the original, you'll find two of the recent trailers down below. The first one is a brief story trailer setting up Washington D.C. and the new threat, while the second one is an overly choreographed but still enjoyable gameplay preview. Have a look:

Since nothing beats trying it out on your own, you might be interested to hear that Ubisoft has now opened the signups for the Closed Beta. You can find all of the information, as well as a bit more about The Division 2, over at the official website.

As for the release date, you can expect The Division 2 to arrive on March 15th, 2019 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Once more information gets revealed I'll make sure to cover it, but until then go and make sure you sign up for the beta. Who knows, you might just get lucky and enter in the first wave!
