While Guild Wars 2 has some of the most fun mounts around, they are unfortunately not available in PvP modes due to balance reasons. After all, any semblance of strategy would break down rather quickly if people were able to just fly over the battlefield and straight onto the objectives!
In order to avoid this problem, as well as give PvP players something fun to mess around with, ArenaNet has now announced a PvP focused mount by the name of Warclaw. As you would imagine from an extremely angry and oversized cat, Warclaw will be able to lunge at enemies, break down doors, as well as use its stamina meter to avoid attacks and move at a rapid pace. Here's how all of that will look like in-game:

Vermintide 2's deed system was originally conceived as a way to offer players an additional challenge, as well to make things more interesting by tweaking the usual gameplay formula. Unfortunately, deeds as a whole ended up being a bit of a disappointment. The rewards were rarely worth the effort, most of the mutators were boring or simply didn't offer enough of a challenge, and most problematic of all, you could only receive deeds through random chance.
With that in mind, I am very glad to say that Fatshark has now decided to give the concept another chance through the newly introduced Weekly Events. While the full list of events has not yet been announced, the very first one has been a resounding success so far. Basically, every time you kill an enemy, two weaker enemies will spawn in their place. And yes, this does include bosses! So if you're like me and you love cleaving through hordes upon hordes of enemies, this event is well worth checking out!

[Update #2]: After 12 years of frantic battles, Heroes of Newerth has now shut down.
[Update]: I'm afraid I have some more bad news - Heroes of Newerth is now closing down its doors.
Back before League of Legends got big and before Dota 2 was even a twinkle in Valve's eye, Heroes of Newerth reigned as the most popular MOBA around. It had extremely tight controls, fun hero designs, and a development team that seemed to be in-tune with what the community wanted. It was by all accounts a great game, but alas, no king rules forever.
Heroes of Newerth's downfall began when they moved from the free open beta into the $30 full release, a move that drastically reduced the playerbase and pushed a good portion of them towards League of Legends. Despite the setback, Heroes of Newerth did recover, and for a while things were once again looking pretty good. Unfortunately, around the time Dota 2 went into Closed Beta, Heroes of Newerth started getting a series of poorly thought out heroes and balance changes, all of which ended up pushing more and more people towards its competitors, me and my friends included.

Despite it originating from The Witcher 3, the Gwent of today has undergone so many changes it's almost an entirely different game. The alpha version brought with it a fresh take on The Witcher 3's ideas, the beta expanded upon them and then subsequently made a bit of a mess, and with the somewhat recent Homecoming update Gwent once again reshaped itself from the ground up.
Thankfully, that period of turmoil has come to an end, and Gwent is now finally looking towards adding a steady stream of content over simply changing the existing one. And what better way to start the process than by adding a bunch of new leaders to mess around with: Gernichora for the Monsters faction, Ardal aep Dahy for Nilfgaard, Queen Meve for Northern Realms, Eldain for Scoia'tael and Arnjolf the Patricide for Skellige.

While each of the operators has their own distinct personality, Rainbow Six Siege has never really been focused on storytelling. However, given the latest CGI short, it would appear that Ubisoft is now looking towards expanding the lore, fleshing out the characters, and moving the overall story forward.
So if you're interested in a closer look at Thatcher, one of Rainbow Six Siege's original operators, as well as the Korean hacker Dokkaebi, you'll find the The Hammer and the Scalpel CGI short right below. Have a gander, it's quite an entertaining one:
