[Update]: PlanetSide Arena will be closing down its servers on January 10, 2020.
PlanetSide Arena was originally supposed to arrive in late January, but just a couple of days before launch Daybreak announced that they are pushing the release date back to March. And now, after a couple of weeks of closed beta testing, Daybreak has once again decided to delay PlanetSide Arena, this time around until summer when it'll launch alongside the PS4 version.
While Daybreak has not given an exact reason for the delay, I think it's safe to say that the massive success of Apex Legends has caused them to reconsider some things. Whatever the case may be, I can only hope that once PlanetSide Arena finally arrives, it will do so in exactly the same way as Apex Legends - fully polished and ready to dazzle the world!

While each individual Civilization game tends to be alright on its own, it is the expansions that transform them into something quite special. With that in mind, I am glad to say that Civilization VI's rather hefty Gathering Storm expansion has now finally arrived!
Gathering Storm brings with it environmental effects like volcanoes and storms, engineering projects that can reshape the world, a greater focus on strategic resources, the World Congress to help you resolve disputes and achieve diplomatic victory, and naturally, a whole bunch of new leaders and civs to mess around with. If you're wondering what all of this looks like in-game, allow me to share with you the recently posted trailer. Have a gander, it's a rather informative one:
Resident Evil 2's free Ghost Survivors DLC tells a couple of short but interesting "what if" stories

If you've completed everything Resident Evil 2 has to offer and you're looking for a few more tidbits of content, you might be glad to hear that Capcom has now released the free "Ghost Survivors" DLC. While neither of the three stories is particularly lengthy, they do offer some interesting new enemies to fight against, as well as "what if" scenarios for some of the characters that unfortunately perish in the official Resident Evil story.
In the first chapter you'll have to help the gun store owner Robert Kendo contend with a new type of poisonous zombie as he wonders around in search of some sort of escape route. The second story follows Katherine Warren, the daughter of Raccoon City's major, as she attempts to sneak away from a brand new zombie that seemingly can't be stopped. As for the third story, it's about a soldier that has managed to survive the initial zombie outbreak and is now desperately fighting his way to freedom.

When Blacklight: Retributed first released it had a rather sizable playerbase, and pretty much everyone agreed that the gunplay was extremely solid, the various abilities fun to mess around with, and the free-to-play system actually quite fair. What followed next was a series of rather unfortunate updates, which slowly but surely drained the playerbase and soured the public's opinion about Blacklight: Retribution.
And now, with the playerbase frequently dipping well below 100, I am sad to announce that Blacklight: Retribution will be shutting down its PC servers on March 11th. The PS4 version will still continue to operate as it doesn't use any dedicated servers, but all future updates and support will be getting canceled just the same.

The Division 2 will be coming to PC and consoles this March 15th, bringing with it a variety of improvements over the original, as well as some rather nifty PC-exclusive features. If you would like to give it a try beforehand and see how all of that looks like in-game, you might be glad to hear that Ubisoft will be holding an Open Beta from March 1st to 4th.
Unlike the previous Private Beta, there will be no special requirements for the Open Beta. Once it goes live, all you'll need to do is create or log in to your Uplay account, download the beta client, and you'll be ready to roam across The Division 2's world until March 4th. A relatively short time frame, but still plenty of time to let you know whether The Division 2 is your kind of game or not.

Out of all the cards currently available in MTG Arena's Standard format, there is one that is hated above all else - Nexus of Fate. On its own Nexus of Fate is not ridiculously overpowered, and in a best-of-three format it's entirely possible to deal with it in an efficient manner, but when it comes to MTG Arena's most popular best-of-one formats, things are not quite as simple.
First of all, due to the nature of best-of-one matchmaking, the vast majority of decks have very limited ways of interrupting Nexus of Fate decks. As you might imagine, this makes them particularly annoying to fight against since their entire game plan is to start chaining turns until you simply don't get to play the game anymore.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch this June 21st, bringing with it a variety of improvements over the original. You can expect to see enhanced visuals and audio, support for modern resolutions, tighter controls, as well as some new karts and tracks from "beyond the original game".
While the recently posted trailer doesn't feature much in terms of straight-up gameplay, it will give you a pretty good idea of what the newly remastered visuals and audio will be like. Have a gander, it's a fairly short one:

Continuing with the genre's tradition of crossovers, Jump Force is a fighting game that features some of the most popular characters from a variety of Manga (Japanese comics). In other words, you can expect to see fan-favorite characters from Dragon Ball, One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Hunter X Hunter, and many more battle it out over a wide assortment of themed maps.
Rather than simply list all of the characters, allow me to share with you one of the recent trailers that showcases all of them in action. Have a gander:

After appearing pretty much out of nowhere, THQ Nordic has quickly managed to acquire a wide variety studios and game IPs. Just recently they've revived the Darksiders series, acquired the rights to classic games like TimeSplitters, Kingdoms of Amalur and Carmageddon, as well brought Deep Silver and their Metro series under their wing.
The latest in this series of acquisitions is Warhorse Studios and their medieval RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Much like before, THQ Nordic has not revealed what exactly they have planned for Warhorse Studios, but given that the leadership has remained exactly the same, it appears that they will be there to finance and market the studio's next game.

Apex Legends released a little over a week ago, and already it has managed to become incredibly successful. According to one of the recent announcements, Apex Legends has had more than 25 million players roam across its world, with over 2 million people playing at the same time throughout the weekend. Truly impressive numbers for a game that has launched without any sort of marketing campaign.
However, while Apex Legends is a pretty darn good game, it does still have some major problems. Crashes are a surprisingly common occurrence regardless of how powerful one's PC might be, there are some noticeable issues with lag when playing at prime time, and as is tradition with free-to-play games, there are a whole bunch of cheaters running around. In order to address these problems, as well as announce their plans for the future, Respawn has now released the first of a series of developer updates.
