Artwork for the weapon Havoc from Apex Legends

Apex Legends arrived a mere two weeks ago, and already it has managed to become a massive success on both PC and consoles. In order to keep the players engaged and the momentum high, Respawn has now released the weapon Pathfinder used in the cinematic trailer - the energy based assault rifle Havoc.

If you're wondering what exactly Havoc has to offer, as well as what sort of attachments you can put on it, you'll find the answers you seek in the recently posted trailer. Have a gander, it's quite an interesting weapon:

I've played a couple of matches with it so far, and to be perfectly honest, Havoc is a bit of a mixed bag. Without any attachments it just takes so long to start firing that you're going to be at a disadvantage in nearly every duel, and for a primary weapon that's not exactly ideal. Once you get either of the hop-up attachments, however, the Havoc becomes a noticeably more powerful weapon. So while I wouldn't recommend picking it up over more consistent options, I do believe it'll end up finding a comfortable place in the meta.

That's pretty much everything you need to know about this update, but as far as the future is concerned, you might be interested to hear that Respawn is still planning to release a performance-focused patch in the near future. Once they share any details, or release the update itself, I'll make sure to let you know. Until then, have fun 'pew-pewing' with Havoc!
