Crackdown 3 was announced back in 2014 and was originally supposed to arrive years ago, but unfortunately it kept encountering delay after delay. Thankfully, all that turmoil now appears to be over as Crackdown 3 has finally arrived for both PC and Xbox One.

If you're wondering what Crackdown 3 looks like after all these years in development, as well as what sort of gameplay it has to offer, you'll find the answers you seek in the most recent launch trailer. Have a gander:

As you might imagine given all of the delays and rumors of troubled development, Crackdown 3 has released as a bit of a mixed bag. It's not as bad as some of the opinions online would lead you to believe, but it is unfortunately an entirely middle-of-the-road kind of game that doesn't really offer anything special or take the genre in any sort of interesting direction. So while I wouldn't recommend you grab Crackdown 3 at full price, it might still be worth checking out once it goes on a bit of a discount.
