It'll bring with it a variety of new Methods to help you customize your combat playstyle, including one that has been inspired by the original Ni no Kuni. There will also be new locations to explore, a variety of storylines to unravel, and naturally, numerous new items to acquire.

Even though it had a bit of a rough start, Fatshark has slowly but surely managed to improve Vermintide 2 in nearly every way. And now, an entire year since launch, Vermintide 2's balance is in an excellent place, there is a wide variety of maps to mess around with, and the once incredibly frustrating enemies have finally been made consistent and bug-free.
In order to celebrate all of this, Fatshark has now released the Anniversary Update alongside a brand new map called "A Quiet Drink". If you're interested in all of the details, as well as the full patch notes, you should hop on over to Steam to learn more.

Guild Wars 2 was originally supposed to receive the PvP-focused mount Warclaw back in February, but unfortunately ArenaNet got hit by a rather large amount of layoffs, around a hundred people in total. As you might imagine, this caused quite a bit of chaos within the studio, and as such the Warclaw mount was pushed back towards March.
The wait is now finally over, thankfully, and the PvP-focused Warclaw has pounced onto the live servers alongside a rather large balance update. You can find all of the details, as well as read the full patch notes, over at the official forums.

[Update]: Capcom has now removed the controversial DRM Denuvo from Devil May Cry 5!
After quite a few previews and teasers, Devil May Cry 5 has now finally made its way to both PC and consoles. Much like its predecessors, Devil May Cry 5's combat is ridiculously over-the-top, flashy and filled with plenty of ways to combo your enemies into oblivion.
If you're curious about how this might look like in gameplay terms, allow me to share with you the recently posted trailer showing off Dante's combat style. It's a pretty short and entertaining video, so have a gander:

Mortal Kombat 11 is set to arrive in about six weeks, and in order to give people a taste of what is to come, NetherRealm Studios have now launched a free weekend for Mortal Kombat X. So if you're curious about what exactly the Mortal Kombat series has to offer, as well as how ridiculously over-the-top the fatalities are, you should head on over to Steam and give it a try.
The one catch is that the free weekend will only last for a little over two days, so do make sure to start the download as quickly as possible if you want to get a decent amount of playtime in. As for what exactly the gameplay is like, here's one of the original trailers to help you figure it out:

If you've been paying attention to the final few squads in Apex Legends, chances are you've seen a bit of a pattern: Wraith, Bangalore and Lifeline, all equipped with a Peacekeeper or Wingman, often even a combination both. Needless to say, Apex Legends currently has some balance issues to work through, especially when it comes to some of the chunkier characters as their enlarged hitbox makes them an easy target.
With that in mind, I am very happy to announce that Respawn has now released the very first balance update. Both the Wingman and Peacekeeper have been nerfed, while the hitboxes for Caustic, Pathfinder and Gibraltar will soon become a lot more accurate. You can find all of the details over at Reddit, but for now, allow me to share some of the most important changes:

After spending a fair bit of time on the PTR, Overwatch's newest Assault map Paris made its way to the live servers two weeks ago. In order to give everyone enough time to explore the map, as well as ensure the competitive mode doesn't erupt into chaos, Blizzard opted to make Paris initially available only in Quick Play and Arcade game modes.
The two-week wait is now over, however, and Paris has finally made its way to Competitive Play as well. Much like the last few map releases, I would highly recommend taking a little break from Competitive Play this week as it is likely to be a bit of a mess, especially since Paris is a chokepoint-heavy Assault map that requires a bit of finesse to actually complete.

After being absent for quite a few years, the Dead or Alive series has now returned to both PC and consoles with Dead or Alive 6. It brings with it a new engine and improved visuals, visible damage on characters as the battle goes on, and perhaps most surprisingly given the series' history, the toning down of "jiggle physics" in favor of more interesting costumes.
If you're wondering what all of this might look like in gameplay terms, allow me to share with you one of the earlier trailers. I'd usually go for the more recent launch trailer, but it's unfortunately a bit of an incoherent mess, so here's the release date trailer instead:

After a fairly lengthy period of turmoil, CDPR unleashed the Homecoming update back in October and pretty much rebuilt Gwent from the ground up. While initial impressions weren't exactly great, CDPR stuck to their guns and slowly but surely brought Gwent into a rather nice position, both in terms of balance and design.
In order to improve things further, as well as give players more toys to mess around with, CDPR has now also announced a brand new expansion - Crimson Curse. While the name alone should clue you in on what exactly the Crimson Curse will be about, you can also find out in the recently posted teaser trailer down below. Have a peek, it's quite a fun video:
