[Update]: The update has now arrived with three new outfits, two new challenges, and plenty of ways to show off your skills.
While Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice sadly never received any sort of DLC or expansion, you might be happy to hear it'll soon be getting a rather chunky new update. Besides a variety of fixes and improvements, the update will add a boss rush mode called the "Gauntlet of Strength" that will allow you to put your skills to the test by facing off against every single boss in the game... in succession!
If that simply isn't hard enough for you, however, there will also be a single-life challenge for you to undertake. How exactly that'll work and what sort of rewards you'll get by completing it, that I'm afraid is currently still shrouded in fog.

[Update]: Hearthstone's Madness at the Darkmoon Faire expansion has landed alongside a few problems.
While Hearthstone's recent Scholomance Academy expansion simply offered more of the usual, the upcoming Madness at the Darkmoon Faire expansion will really shake things up, and not just because the Old Gods are involved! Not only will the Darkmoon Faire bring in a boatload of new cards, but it will also greatly revamp the progression and reward systems, as well as add a brand new game mode.
The new Duels game mode will combine the deck-building and power progression elements of a Dungeon Run with fierce player vs player action. In Duels you'll choose a hero, a hero power, a signature treasure and then build a 15-card starter deck from your own collection, after which you'll face off against a series of opponents. Between each match you'll be able to greatly enhance your deck by adding minions, spells or treasures, which should make the whole thing highly replayable and hopefully highly enjoyable as well.

[Update #2]: Apex Legends has now landed onto Steam alongside the massive Season 7 update, though not without major problems.
[Update]: Apex Legends' massive Season 7 update is bringing in a new map, legend, vehicle and even guilds.
In a process that started earlier this year, EA has been releasing the vast majority of their Origin-exclusive games onto Steam. With that in mind, it should come as too much of a surprise to hear that the highly popular Apex Legends will be the next one to step forth!
The Steam version of Apex Legends will be going live this November 4th and will allow you to carry over all of your unlocks and progression between the two versions. As an additional little bonus, Steam players will also receive free Portal and Half-Life inspired gun charms just by logging in.

[Update]: The experimental update has now gone live, though the Baptiste 'HD Screen' buff has been pushed back until the next patch due to animation problems.
For as long as Overwatch has existed, Blizzard has tried to keep things nice, tidy and easily recognizable for even new players. Because of this Blizzard has never changed health in increments lower than 50, as anything below that is a bit tricky to figure out at a glance, especially in the middle of a massive teamfight.
However, with the Overwatch team now heavily focused on balance above all else, that rule has finally been broken. As such, the newest experimental update has not only brought some nice changes to Baptiste and Mei, but also tweaked a bunch of heroes by raising or lowering their health by 25! Here's what they're currently testing:

[Update]: Google is shutting down Stadia and issuing refunds for all purchases.
Immortals Fenyx Rising, previously known as Gods and Monsters, is Ubisoft's upcoming mythological action-adventure. As you might imagine given the genre, Fenyx Rising will have you explore a large open world, mess around with a variety of unique weapons and skills, as well as clobber an assortment of mythological terrors like the Cyclops and Medusa.
You can get a pretty good impression of what all of this looks like in action through the recently posted developer playthrough. Have a gander, it's a fairly lengthy one:

Earlier this month MTG Arena devs delayed a major update in order to make sure its polished up and ready to go. Unfortunately, that seems to have ended up in failure because while the freshly launched update has indeed fixed a bunch of bugs, it has also managed to somehow introduce twice as many new ones.
On the positive side of things, the number indicating how many cards you have in your deck is now properly highlighted and will no longer be a ghostly white on a white background. Disconnecting while creating a deck will now save your progress, while favorite decks will still remain in your favorites list even after you've edited them. The update has also fixed a bunch of issues with double-faced land cards, smoothed out the gameplay when it comes to resolving large amounts of triggered abilities, as well as prevented players from lagging out the game by repeatedly hovering over a card.

[Update]: Vermintide 2 is free to try out until November 1st.
The original Vermintide is currently celebrating its 5-year anniversary, and in order honor this momentous achievement, developer Fatshark has now done what they do best - ordered the players to go kill an absurdly large amount of rats! And when I say absurdly large, I really do mean that as the challenge requires Vermintide 2 players to slay 555,555,555 enemies by November 1st!
As an additional little bonus, should the community reach 300,000,005 kills before the deadline, a triple experience event will go live for all players. However, should the full goal be reached as well, you can also expect to see a second triple experience event! So if you still have some characters that need to be either geared or leveled up, you might want to start slicing up some ratmen!

[Update #2]: Apex Legends' massive Season 7 update is bringing in a new map, legend, vehicle and even guilds.
[Update]: Apex Legends will be making its way to Steam this November alongside a couple of exclusive cosmetics.
Last year Apex Legends had a pretty cool idea for a Halloween event. After landing in a nighttime version of Kings Canyon, players would engage in a massive free-for-all brawl, with the losers rising from their graves as melee-only shadows that only exist to hunt down the living players. Eventually the living players would need to set aside their differences, face off against the shadows, and try to flee the map before things get too nasty.
Unfortunately, due to the solo nature of the event, there were quite a few problems. While the living players would spend most of the game camping in order to avoid dying, shadows would leave the game in large numbers as they simply didn't see a point in continuing. And so, what started off as a great idea, ended up being a bit of a mess.

[Update #2]: Total War: Troy's second faction DLC is bringing in Ajax & Diomedes.
[Update]: Total War: Troy is now adding both co-op and PvP multiplayer.
While Total War: Warhammer 2's Orion and his Wood Elves will have to wait until November for their big update, the Total War: Troy equivalent is looking to be in a much better position. To be more specific, Total War: Troy's update later today will be adding not only Orion as an Epic Agent, but also Artemis as a brand new goddess with her own unique effects and benefits.
What this means in gameplay terms is that you will have one new god to worship through the Divine Will system, as well as a new temple building chain that will be available to all factions. After completing a prayer to Artemis you will be able to recruit a powerful new light archer unit, the warriors of Artemis, while getting to the highest tier of worship of Artemis will grant you access to Orion who serves as an incredibly powerful agent on the campaign map.

[Update]: It looks like Fortnite will be making the 'no building' mode a permanent addition!
Whatever madness caused the recent trend in rapidly increasing install sizes now thankfully appears to be subsiding. Not only has Call of Duty finally allowed PC players to cut off at least a little bit of Modern Warfare's 200+ GB file size, but Fortnite has now brought in even greater savings.
As a part of the freshly launched Update 14.40, Fortnite has implemented a variety of optimizations in order to not only reduce the install size on PC, but also improve the loading times. And the savings really are massive as Fortnite's file size has now been reduced by approximately 60GB!
