[Update]: Amnesia: Rebirth has now been unleashed for PC and PS4, and unsurprisingly, it's pretty much the original game with new content and a few extra bells and whistles.
Ten years have gone by since Amnesia: The Dark Descent brought a breath of fresh air into the horror genre, and now its newest sequel Amnesia: Rebirth is rearing up to do the same. Whether it will succeed or not, we'll find out soon enough as Amnesia: Rebirth will be launching on October 20, 2020 for Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store and PlayStation 4.
As for what exactly you can expect to see in terms of storytelling, as well as what kind of environments you'll be running away from monsters in, that you can find out through the freshly posted preview. Have a peek, it's a rather nice one:
Amazon's team-based shooter Crucible will be closing down its servers on November 9, 2020

[Update]: Amazon has canceled their Lord of the Rings themed MMORPG.
Crucible, Amazon's free-to-play shooter, released onto Steam back in May. Unfortunately, it did so far too early and with far too many problems, and as such instantly suffered from a large amount of mediocre to bad reviews. In order to hopefully turn the ship around and stop the rapid loss of players, Crucible went back into closed beta a month later with the intention to improve and rework the various problem spots.
A lot of time has gone by since then, and while I'd love to tell you that Crucible is now better than ever, I'm afraid I bring bad news. According to the newest announcement, Crucible will be closing down its servers on November 9, 2020.

If you're not a fan of the Epic Games Store, or if you simply didn't noticed it launched, you might be interested to hear that Obsidian's The Outer Worlds RPG (not to be confused with the Outer Wilds) is now coming to Steam. You can expect to see it arrive this October 23rd, which is just under a year since it first released onto the Epic Games Store and consoles.
For those of you that need a bit of a reminder what The Outer Worlds is even all about, allow me to share with you the original launch trailer. It should give you a pretty good idea of just what kind of atmosphere Obsidian was going for:
The oddly post-apocalyptic Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3 is leaving Early Access on October 14, 2020

[Update]: Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3 has launched from Early Access alongside some excellent reviews.
After spending slightly under a year in Steam's Early Access program, the oddly post-apocalyptic restaurant management game Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3 is now nearly ready for prime time. You can expect to see it release in full this October 14th for PC, Mac, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, while the PlayStation 4 and Amazon Luna versions will be following in their tracks shortly after.
Once version 1.0 arrives you'll be able to explore a lengthy singleplayer or co-op campaign, mess around with plenty of upgrades for both your food catalog and heavily armored truck, as well as use a variety of cosmetics to probably cover up all of the bullet holes from rival attacks. If that sounds completely insane for what is essentially a cooking and management game, you would be correct, but it is also what gives Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3 a good bit of charm and personality!

If you ever wanted to give Total War a try, or simply see what the Warhammer universe is even all about, you can now kill two birds with one Goblin tied to a stone. I say this because the truly excellent Total War: Warhammer 2 is currently having a free weekend on Steam, and will remain free to try out until October 12th!
Should you find yourself enjoying the experience, it's also worth mentioning that both Total War: Warhammer 1 and 2 are currently on a steep discount. Total War: Warhammer 2 is 66% off which brings the price down to €20, while the original Total War: Warhammer is 75% off and thus €15.
Fall Guys' major Season 2 update has brought in plenty of medieval mayhem

[Update]: Fall Guys' devs have released a sneak peek at the upcoming Season 3 update.
When it comes to silly party games, and this includes Fall Guys, things are always the most entertaining when nobody knows what's coming up next and how to best navigate each obstacle. As soon as people master the various stages and develop optimal strategies, things quickly turn sour as players have a nasty tendency to optimize the fun away from the whole experience.
In order to avoid this, as well as to keep the gameplay as fresh as possible, Fall Guys' Season 2 update has now brought in a rather sizable batch of new content. Expect to see four new maps filled with medieval mayhem (with more coming soon), a variety of new obstacles to overcome or simply annoy your friends with, and naturally, a whole host of new cosmetics including wizards, knights and dragons!
Total War: Troy and its Amazons DLC have now made their way to macOS as well

[Update]: Total War: Troy is adding Artemis, Orion and a highly customizable new Photo Mode.
Two months after the original release of Total War: Troy, the macOS version has now been unleashed as well. Best of all, if you already grabbed yourself a free copy of Troy, you'll now be able to start playing on Mac without any sort of additional hassle.
The same applies to the recently released Amazons DLC. So if you're in the mood for seeing just how Creative Assembly is attempting to improve horde-based gameplay, as well as how Chaos in Total War: Warhammer 3 might function, I'd recommend giving Penthesilea a try as it's a rather fun campaign.
