[Update]: Story-focused spin-off Cook Serve Forever will be heading into Early Access on May 8th, and it'll likely stay there eight to ten months.

If you're in the mood for a cooking and restaurant management game that takes things in a bit of a different (and strange) direction, you might want to check out the newly launched Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3. And when I say strange, I really do mean that as Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3 take place in the post-apocalypse and features attacks from rival cooking gangs!

Since I'm aware that sounds like a whole load of nonsense, allow me to also share with you the recently posted launch trailer. It'll clue you in quite quickly on just what Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3 has to offer:

Shadowlands pre-patch has now arrived with revamped leveling and tons of new customization

[Update #2]: World of Warcraft will soon start issuing bans for multiboxing and automated gameplay.

[Update]: The Shadowlands expansion will be launching for real this November 23rd!

While World of Warcraft's Shadowlands expansion has been delayed until later this year, its pre-patch has now arrived in order to help everyone pass the time. Personally, I would highly recommend trying out a brand new character as the pre-patch has not only squished levels from 120 to 50, but also made it so you can quest through any of the expansions on your journey to max level!

There is also a new zone specifically tailored to beginners, Exile's Reach, that will teach players pretty much everything they need to know about World of Warcraft and how it works. Best of all, it's also a pretty fun zone to level through, so if you haven't experienced it yet, it's well worth checking out.

[Update #2]: Valorant's cursed Update 1.11 will be making a return on Monday, November 2nd.

[Update]: Valorant has pulled back the recent Update 1.11 due to massive technical issues.

After being teased for a little while, Valorant's very first new map, Icebox, has now finally arrived! Expect to see plenty of snow, an entire jungle of storage containers, a bunch of heavy machinery, and most importantly of all, ziplines!

You can get a little bit of a sneak peek at what Icebox looks like in-game, as well as how useful the ziplines might be, through the recently posted trailer. Have a gander, it's a fairly short one:

After a brief stint in Early Access, Torchlight 3 has now been unleashed

After the free-to-play and MMO inspired Torchlight Frontiers ended up testing poorly, the developers opted to redesign it from the ground up and re-release it as Torchlight 3. The initial version of Torchlight 3 launched into Early Access back in June, and unfortunately it did so alongside quite a few problems.

Only a couple of months have gone by since then, and already Torchlight 3 has been unleashed onto both PC and consoles. Needless to say, many of the issues still remain, and as such the reviews are disappointingly mediocre across the board.

Horizon Zero Dawn PC Update 1.06 has fixed crashes and made Aloy walk straight

[Update]: Horizon Zero Dawn PC Update 1.07 has fixed anisotropic filtering and shader optimization.

While the initial launch of Horizon Zero Dawn on PC was a bit messy, to put it lightly, things have gotten a lot better since then. Many of the crashes have been fixed, the performance has been improved, and perhaps most importantly, the strange mouse sensitivity issues have been taken care of.

The good news only continues with the freshly launched Update 1.06. Not only have two new flavors of crashes been corrected, but the update has also finally fixed the bug that caused Alloy to always walk at a very, very slight angle. While not the biggest problem in the world, this is one of those things that can drive a person absolutely insane once they notice it, so I'm quite delighted to see Aloy walk exactly where you tell her to!

Indie metroidvania Axiom Verge 2 has been pushed back until the first half of 2021

If you were hoping to get your hands on Axiom Verge 2 this year, I'm afraid I bring some bad news. In a fairly lengthy announcement, the one and only developer Tom Happ revealed that Axiom Verge 2 has been delayed until the first half of 2021, with no concrete date available just yet.

"So why is it taking so long," Happ explains. "First, the enemies in Axiom Verge 2 are much more sophisticated than those in the original Axiom Verge. Whereas in the original all of the enemies followed a set path, in Axiom Verge 2 some enemies scan the environment for you, and if they detect you, they’ll give chase."
