Overwatch will be adding Ashe’s Deadlock Challenge tomorrow, June 22nd

[Update]: Overwatch has added cross-platform multiplayer alongside a new Ashe themed event!
In an effort to keep players occupied while most of the development team is working on Overwatch 2, Blizzard has been releasing smaller, cosmetic-focused updates for quite a few months now. However, while the previous Anniversary update brought with it cosmetics for a variety of heroes, tomorrow's (June 22nd) Deadlock Challenge will be all about Ashe.
The exact details haven't been announced just yet, but I think it's safe to say that we'll be getting a fancy new skin, a couple of sprays, as well as a player icon showcasing the skin itself. If some of the other challenges are any indicator, it's also likely that there will be a streamer-focused event that will grant another couple of sprays depending on how long you watch the partnered streams.
Biomutant's Update 1.5 has improved the loot, increased the level cap, and fixed a bunch of crashes

After being mercilessly teased for nearly five years, the post-apocalyptic Kung-Fu RPG Biomutant finally arrived onto PC and consoles back in May. Unfortunately it did so alongside a somewhat mixed reception, with most of the complaints focusing on the numerous and annoying bugs, somewhat janky combat, and an overall lack of polish.
While some of these issues still remain, I am pleased to say that the freshly released Update 1.5 seems to have addressed many of the more pressing concerns. Combat has undergone a variety of improvements aimed at making it feel smoother, item drops have been made more exciting across the board, and even the level cap has been increased from 50 to 100.

[Update]: Diablo 2: Resurrected has now been unleashed, and so far it's looking pretty good!
If you're as eager as I am to dive back into the timeless classic that is Diablo 2, you'll be extremely happy to hear Blizzard has now finally announced a release date! You can expect to see Diablo 2: Resurrected land onto PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch on September 23, 2021.
The remastered version will bring with it improved visuals for monsters, heroes, items, spells and just about everything else, all the while maintaining the exact same gameplay that made the original so addictive. It's also worth mentioning that even though there will be no cross-play between the four platforms, there will at the very least be cross-platform progression so you'll be able to keep playing the same characters regardless of what device you're using.
Battlerite developers are working on a new open world vampire game - V Rising

[Update]: V Rising has now landed into Early Access, and so far things are looking quite good!
After developing two highly competitive arena games with a focus on non-stop action, Stunlock Studios will be taking their next game V Rising in a completely different direction. Instead of everything taking place in a tiny arena where two teams battle it out to the death, V Rising will be an open world vampire game with plenty of room for both cooperation and hostility among players.
As you would expect from any vampire game, in V Rising you'll have to hunt for blood in nearby villages in order to survive, avoid the scorching sun and the endless pursuit of vampire hunters, and naturally, try your best to remain on friendly terms with your blood-sucking neighbors lest they decide to make your unlife a bit more... interesting. Along the way you'll be able to gather resources and learn new abilities, build up a bastion of power or simply move from town to town in order to avoid pursuit, as well as uncover a variety of dungeons and points of interest throughout the world.

[Update #2]: Microsoft Flight Simulator update has now fleshed out Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar and Andorra.
[Update]: Microsoft Flight Simulator will be adding helicopters, gliders and sailplanes in 2022.
After sprucing up France, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg with the April update, Microsoft Flight Simulator devs have now set their sights on prettying up the Nordic countries of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. Much like before, the update has brought in a whole array of improvements to the landscape and architecture, fleshed out around 100 airports, as well as added 77 fancy new points of interest to explore.
Since words alone aren't exactly the best way to convey such visual changes, allow me to also share with you the recently posted trailer. It should give you a much better idea of just what kind of landmarks have been added. Have a gander:
Ninja Theory is working on a highly ambitious sequel to Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice

[Update]: Ninja Theory have shared the very first gameplay preview for Senua's Saga: Hellblade II.
If you enjoyed the 2017 psychological action-adventure Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, I'm happy to say I come with good news in tow. According to the latest developer update from Ninja Theory, the team is now hard at work on the second chapter of Senua's journey - Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II!
Hellblade 2 is still early in production so I can't share with you anything specific just yet, but from what I can tell it seems that Ninja Theory will not only be sprucing things up on the combat front, but also greatly expanding the scope of the story itself. How exactly all of this will translate into moment-to-moment gameplay, only time will tell, but if Hellblade 2 is anything like the original I have a feeling it'll be a pretty exciting ride!
PC version of Ys IX: Monstrum Nox now has a free demo available on Steam

[Update]: Ys IX: Monstrum Nox has now landed onto PC and Switch, and so far it's looking pretty good!
After spending a fair bit of time on the PlayStation 4, Ys IX: Monstrum Nox will finally be heading over to PC and Switch on July 6, 2021. Perhaps most importantly given Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana's messy launch, the ports this time around are being handled by PH3 Games and Engine Software, which all but guarantees that Ys IX will run incredibly smoothly all the way through.
If you would like to test that theory out for yourself, as well as check out what Ys IX has to offer on the gameplay front, you'll also be happy to hear that there is now a free demo available. The demo features two decently lengthy dungeons to explore and plenty of combat to sink your teeth into, so it's well worth the trouble if you're curious. To check it out simply head on over to Steam, click on that "Download Demo" button on the right, and you'll be ready to roll after a brief download.
