Overwatch is looking to heavily nerf hitscan heroes like Ashe, McCree and Baptiste

[Update]: The hitscan nerfs have now gone through, and I can only hope things end up well for poor Soldier 76.
It has only been a few days since Overwatch was thrown into chaos with the addition of cross-play, and already Blizzard is looking to shake things up even further. This time around they're looking to do so by removing some of the GOATs (triple tank, triple support) era buffs and toning down hitscan heroes across the board.
As such, the new experimental update has made it so hitscan heroes like Ashe, Baptiste and McCree now lose upwards of 70% of their damage when shooting outside of their optimal ranges, up from the previous 50% penalty. This essentially forces hitscan heroes to play closer to the front lines, while also giving long-ranged heroes like Pharah some much-needed leeway against their counters.

[Update]: Not only has Afterlife arrived, but Death's Gambit is also getting its very first paid expansion on February 10, 2022!
Given the fairly positive reception the Souls-like, action-platformer Death's Gambit enjoyed ever since it first launched back in 2018, it should come as little surprise to hear that the developers have now announced a massive new expansion. What might come as quite a shock, however, is that the Afterlife expansion will be entirely free!
Afterlife will bring with it 10 new levels to drastically increase the size of the world map, all the while bringing in plenty of new items and secrets to make exploring and re-exploring the existing areas more exciting as well. You can also expect to see 6 new bosses, 22 new weapons, a whole bunch of new talents and customization options, and naturally, a brand new storyline that will culminate with multiple new endings!

In celebration of Sonic's 30th anniversary, Microsoft and Sega have teamed up to release something I doubt anyone could've expected - a Sonic DLC for Minecraft! And no, this doesn't mean just a couple of new Sonic themed skins or blocks. Instead the newly launched DLC attempts to recreate Sonic's gameplay in Minecraft, which is about as ambitious as it sounds!
Since words alone simply can't even begin to describe this cross-over, allow me to share with you the recently posted trailer. It should clue you in quite quickly on just what to expect from Sonic in Minecraft. Have a gander:

[Update]: After a long period of silence, Ubisoft has now delayed Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora to 2023-24.
After witnessing the Avatar 2 movie get delayed time and time again, it seems that Ubisoft has simply decided to take matters into their own hands! In other words, they have just announced Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora - a first person, action-adventure set in the highly immersive, open world of Pandora.
While there is still no gameplay trailer available, you can get a bit of an idea of the sort of atmosphere and visuals Ubisoft is going for through the announcement trailer below. Have a little peek:

Only a few months have gone by since the Souls-like Metroidvania Ender Lilies launched into Early Access, and already the devs have managed to finish up all of the content and release it in full. The launch version brings with it an additional five areas, a whole assortment of new bosses and secrets to uncover, the ability to fully upgrade your spirit companion, and naturally, the conclusion to the whole story. A pretty chunky update, all things considered!
As for what exactly all of this looks like in actual gameplay, that you can find out through the recently posted launch trailer. Have a gander, it's a rather stylish one:
Total War: Warhammer 3 devs have detailed the improvements and changes coming to battles

[Update]: Total War: Warhammer 3's release date has been pushed back to early 2022.
While diplomacy plays a big part in any Total War game, it's the battles themselves that are the series' bread and butter. After all, signing a lucrative trade agreement feels pretty good, but not quite as good as watching a herd of minotaurs send a pack of ratmen flying into the stratosphere!
So after recently detailing the Khorne and Kislev armies, Creative Assembly has now taken the time to shed light on some of the improvements and changes coming to battles. First and foremost, more factions will have access to in-battle resources like the stuff we've already seen with Skaven, Tomb Kings or Dark Elves. The specifics have not been revealed just yet, but I don't think anyone will complain about having more toys to play around with!
