Diablo 2: Resurrected artwork for Mephisto

[Update]: Diablo 2: Resurrected has now been unleashed, and so far it's looking pretty good!

If you're as eager as I am to dive back into the timeless classic that is Diablo 2, you'll be extremely happy to hear Blizzard has now finally announced a release date! You can expect to see Diablo 2: Resurrected land onto PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch on September 23, 2021.

The remastered version will bring with it improved visuals for monsters, heroes, items, spells and just about everything else, all the while maintaining the exact same gameplay that made the original so addictive. It's also worth mentioning that even though there will be no cross-play between the four platforms, there will at the very least be cross-platform progression so you'll be able to keep playing the same characters regardless of what device you're using.
