Apex Legends update has beefed up Rampart and added a new Rampart themed map location

[Update]: Apex Legends' Season 11 will be adding Titanfall 2's Ash, a brand new tropical map, and more.
Despite being one of the more flavorful characters, Rampart has unfortunately been at the very bottom in terms of pickrate for a very long time now. This is partly due to her static defenses being easily circumvented, and partly because her ultimate often leaves her completely exposed to any sort of counter-attack.
So in order to address this little problem Respawn has now released a brand new update that's all about Rampart. Her ultimate has been buffed and can now be carried around, as well as fired on the move, while the World's Edge map has received a new location by the name of Big Maude. As you would expect given Rampart's personality, Big Maude is actually a gigantic tank with its very own paintball course, because of course it is!

[Update]: Life is Strange Remastered Collection has now landed onto both PC and consoles.
If you're in the mood for a character and story focused adventure, you'll happy to hear that Life is Strange: True Colors has now landed onto PC and consoles. Best of all, unlike the previous Life is Strange games that took many months to fully come out, True Colors has been unleashed with all of its episodes already present and accounted for!
As for the story, this time around you'll be following Alex Chen as she comes to terms with her ability to experience, absorb and manipulate the emotions of others. With this rather odd power you'll have to figure out the truth behind your brother's death, and as is tradition at this point, uncover a myriad of dark secrets buried in the small, sleepy town of Haven Springs.

[Update]: Total War: Warhammer 3's newest preview shows off Grand Cathay and Tzeentch's armies for the very first time.
If you were hoping to get your hands on Total War: Warhammer 3 and its new and improved factions later this year, I'm afraid I have some bad news. According to the latest announcement, Creative Assembly has now pushed Total War: Warhammer 3 back until early 2022 in order to get everything polished up and ready to go.
"With nearly a decade of development on the Total War: Warhammer trilogy behind us, it feels surreal to see its culminating chapter so close to release," reads the brief update. "While it's tempting to rush to the finish line as it comes into view, we have made the decision to give it a little more time by moving the launch of Total War: Warhammer 3 from 2021 to early 2022."

[Update]: Innistrad: Midnight Hunt has now landed alongside the yearly Standard set rotation.
MTG Arena's Innistrad: Midnight Hunt will be arriving this September 16th alongside a whole assortment of new cards. As you might expect given the setting there will be plenty of zombies, werewolves and spirits to mess around with, as well as some new twists on old mechanics.
Speaking of which, there will be three major ones to pay attention to in Midnight Hunt: the day/night cycle, coven and flashback. Here's a brief rundown of what each one does:
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous update has corrected many of the most annoying bugs

[Update #2]: Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous' first expansion Inevitable Excess is coming on February 15th.
[Update]: October's Wrath of the Righteous update has improved the Crusade mode and fixed tons of bugs.
As I mentioned in my review, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is an amazing game that is sadly mired by a whole assortment of bugs. Some of them, like the moonwalking leopards, are benign and mostly good for a couple of laughs, while others are an absolute nuisance and can ruin your campaign if you don't work around them.
With that in mind, I'm very happy to say that the freshly released update has now corrected some of the worst problems. First and foremost, the red defense banner in the Crusader mode will now no longer be permanently red, essentially stopping it from draining all of your army's morale as long as you're not losing fortress after fortress.
Total War: Warhammer 2 update has now finally improved cavalry charges across the board

[Update]: After a successful beta, the cavalry changes have are now live!
As a part of its final major update Total War: Warhammer 2 added whole bunch of new content, quality of life improvements, and naturally, much-needed balance changes. While the vast majority of that ended up serving as an amazing sendoff to an amazing game, sadly one small tweak to how charge attacks worked ended up making every single cavalry unit nearly worthless.
To put it fairly simply, even the heaviest cavalry charging into much weaker infantry that's charging them back would suffer horrific losses in the ensuing melee. This is due to the fact that every single entity within a unit deals their full attack damage upon connecting with the enemy, which given the large difference in numbers between cavalry and infantry will usually result in the cavalry losing a massive amount of health right after the initial charge.

After being delayed over and over again, Arkane's time-bending shooter Deathloop now finally seems like it's ready to be unleashed. So unless something goes horribly awry in the next few days, you can expect to see it arrive this September 14th for PC and PlayStation 5.
If you're curious what sort of PC you'll need in order to even run it, as well as what sort of hardware will get you the best looking visuals, you'll also be happy to hear that Bethesda and Arkane have now detailed the PC specs and advanced settings.
