[Update]: The second End of Dragons preview event is now live, and unsurprisingly the Bladesworn is pretty darn fun!
While the exact release date has not been announced just yet, Guild Wars 2's third expansion End of Dragons will be launching in early 2022. Once it arrives it'll bring with it the distant land of Cantha, a combat-focused turtle mount that seats two players, new Strikes, storylines and endgame challenges, as well as nine new elite specializations to toy around with.
Speaking of which, you might be happy to hear that we'll soon be getting another beta event showing off three of new specializations: the Elementalist based Catalyst, Warrior based Bladesworn, and Revenant based Vindicator. This second End of Dragons beta event will run from September 21 to September 25 and will be entirely free for everyone to enjoy, so even if you've never given Guild Wars 2 a try you'll still be able to poke your head in and see what all the hubbub is about.

[Update #2]: MTG Arena's Innistrad: Crimson Vow expansion is set to launch on November 11th.
[Update]: Wizards of the Coast has added a Standard-focused and half-price Jumpstart event aimed at beginners.
I hope you're in the mood for a bit of a meta shakeup, because MTG Arena has just added the Innistrad: Midnight Hunt expansion. As you might expect given Innistrad's usual themes, Midnight Hunt has brought with it a whole host of zombies, vampires, spirits, and naturally, werewolves to play around with!
In terms of mechanics, however, Midnight Hunt features three important ones you'll need to watch out for: Flashback/Disturb, Coven, and the Day/Night Cycle. Here's a brief rundown of how they work:

THQ Nordic is currently celebrating their 10th anniversary, and in order to have everyone join in on the festivities they have decided to kick things off with a double giveaway. The two freebies you can grab are Titan Quest Anniversary Edition and Jagged Alliance 1: Gold Edition, the first of could serve as a nice introduction to the series before the long rumored Titan Quest 2 finally arrives.
The catch, as always, is that the giveaway is time-limited and will only be around for as long as supplies last. So if you're in the mood for giving these two classics a try, make sure to go grab yourself a copy before September 23rd.
World of Warcraft devs have detailed the upcoming return of the popular Mage Tower

[Update]: After a fair bit of testing, Shadowlands' quality-of-life focused Update 9.1.5 has now arrived onto the live servers.
Out of all the new additions to World of Warcraft over the past couple of expansions, Legion's Mage Tower is definitely at the very top, right alongside the always popular Mythic+ dungeons. The reason this is the case is quite simple. Mage Tower offered challenging end-game content targeted at both casual and hardcore players, with the end reward being some of the most beautiful class-based cosmetics WoW has seen in years.
With that in mind, I have both good and bad news to deliver. The good news is that the Mage Tower is not only coming back as a part of Legion Timewalking, but that Blizzard will be adding a whole bunch of new class-based armors to it, as well as a spellbook mount for those that manage to beat all of the challenges.
After many struggles, Warhammer 40k: Eternal Crusade has now closed its doors

The idea behind Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade was a truly impressive one. It was supposed to be a gigantic, PvP focused MMO where multiple factions would square off against each other with unique characters, weaponry and abilities. And just to make things even more enticing, the Ork Waaagh! would've consisted mostly out of free-to-play players, thus ensuring there would always be hordes of Greenskins roaming around.
Unfortunately, things didn't end up working out like planned. Due to numerous technical problems Eternal Crusade was downgraded from an MMO to a more classic multiplayer shooter, which would've still been fine if the whole thing wasn't continuously plagued with untold bugs and issues. As such, even after launching from Early Access Eternal Crusade continued to bleed players until there was nothing but a dedicated few left.
Arkane's time-bending shooter Deathloop has now launched onto PC and PlayStation 5

It may have taken what feels like an eternity, but it has actually happened! After being delayed time and time again, Arkane's time-bending shooter Deathloop has now finally made its way to both PC and PlayStation 5.
As for the premise behind Deathloop, it's all in the name. You're essentially stuck in a Groundhog Day situation where no matter what happens you'll eventually wind up back where you started. So in order to break the loop you'll need to blast your way through hordes of baddies with a combination of high-powered weapons and seemingly magical abilities, all in an effort to face off against the people behind it all.

[Update #2]: The latest gameplay preview offers a closer look at a siege battle between Tzeentch (attackers) and Cathay (defenders).
[Update]: Creative Assembly has now detailed the lore and function behind each unit in the Cathay army.
During a developer update a few days ago Creative Assembly announced that Total War: Warhammer 3 has been delayed until early 2022, and that we will be getting more news soon in order to tide us over. Well, they certainly weren't joking as we have just received a rather exciting new trailer!
Instead of further focusing on the conflict between Khorne and Kislev forces, this one serves as an introduction to the 'final' two factions - Grand Cathay and Tzeentch. Have a gander, it's a pretty fun one:
