If you're sick and tired of Mercy being in every single game, Arcade or Competitive, you'll be glad to hear that Blizzard has announced some much-needed nerfs. According to the latest PTR patch Mercy's Resurrect will now take 1.75 seconds to complete, during which she will be slowed down by 75%. Knocking her back, stunning, hacking, or killing will result in the Resurrect failing and the ability going on cooldown. In other words, you will have to protect the Mercy or Resurrect is just going to result in another person dying!
As for Ana, you'll also be glad to hear that her damage is going up to 70! This might not sound like much, but that 10 damage increase gives her the ability to kill 200 HP heroes in three hits, and most importantly of all, it allows her to singlehandedly kill most sleeping targets. I'm not sure how much this is going to improve Ana's lacking winrate, but its certainly a step in the right direction, and one that I am very happy with.

After a myriad of teasers and 'leaks', Gwent's Halloween update has now finally arrived. There's 21 new cards to collect, both neutral and faction-specific, a variety of balance changes intended to increase the power level of struggling archetypes, and best of all, a singleplayer PvE event that rewards a new border and voiced avatar.
There are simply too many changes to cover in brief, so if you're interested in all of the details you should visit the official patch notes. What I will comment on is that Harpy and Restore can be scrapped for full value, so if you aren't planning to use them right away I would suggest dismantling them. You can always craft them later if you so desire, and at the same cost, so there really no reason to keep them around.

Total War: Warhammer 2 has recently been updated with the Mortal Empires campaign. In short, its a combination of the maps from Total War: Warhammer 1 and 2, as well as all of the Legendary Lords and the factions they lead. In order to show off just what kind of carnage you can unleash upon the world, Total War: Warhammer 2 devs have now released a brief trailer highlighting the 10 most interesting, over-the-top, or just plain ol' funny kill animations. Have a look, its quite the spectacle:

After an extremely lengthy period of no content or sizable balance changes, Valve has now finally revealed Dota 2's upcoming Dueling Fates update. It brings with it two brand new heroes to mess around with, an absolute ton of balance changes to items, heroes and talents, a variety of new items and the removal of Iron Talon and Poor Man's Shield, a couple of hero reworks, mechanics changes, and the list goes on for quite a while.
I would love to go into more details and give you a brief summary of what exactly is being changed, but I'm afraid that's simply not possible. The patch notes are so long it took me around 30 minutes to actually read and internalize all of it, so to even attempt to summarize such a thing is a foolhardy venture. So if you're looking to go in-depth and learn everything there is to know about the Dueling Fates update, make sure to visit the official website as Valve has gone all-out on the patch notes.

If you've already managed to finish everything Destiny 2 has to offer, a sentence I hear quite frequently these days, you might be glad to hear that the first expansion is coming relatively soon. As announced during the currently ongoing Paris Games Week 2017 convention, Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris will be coming on December 5th, though I'm not sure if this also includes the PC version.
Curse of Osiris will give players the ability to extend their journey with new story missions and adventures set in a brand new region on Mercury. And if that wasn't enough, there will also be time-traveling shenanigans as we attempt to avert a "dark future and rebuild the ties between the legendary Warlock and his greatest student - Ikora Rey." You can get a brief glimpse at all of this new content via the recently posted reveal trailer. have a look:

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is set to arrive on PC and consoles this November 17th, bringing with it a much larger variety of content than its predecessor. There will be a whole bunch of different planets and maps to explore, a space-based combat mode with its own unique mechanics and ships, an arsenal of weapons and vehicles from the various Star Wars time periods, and perhaps most surprisingly of all, a singleplayer story focused around an Imperial commander.
While the recently posted launch trailer doesn't go into any details, it should still give you a brief glimpse at everything Star Wars Battlefront 2 has to offer. Have a look, its a fairly short and flashy video:

Monster Hunter: World will be coming to consoles this January 26th, while the release date for the PC version has not yet been revealed. On the positive side, the developers did say they will take as long as they need to in order to ensure that Monster Hunter: World ends up being a quality PC port.
So while we're stuck waiting for more information, allow me to share with you the recently posted Paris Games Week 2017 trailer. It doesn't feature anything new in terms of mechanics, but it will give you a pretty damn good look at a variety of different locations and monsters. Have a gander:

[Update]: Twelve years after the original, the PC version of Spelunky 2 has now been unleashed!
While it didn't invent the genre, Spelunky is one of the key games behind the growing popularity of roguelikes. There is just something special about its combination of punishing-but-fair difficulty, cutesy art style, randomized levels, and absolutely insane secrets that require both knowledge and skill in order to unveil.
With that in mind, I am very glad to say that Spelunky 2 has now been announced at the Paris Games Week 2017 convention! Unfortunately, there are currently no details available as it was only briefly mentioned before the main show, but I'm sure we'll get more information in the very near future.

Much like the main game, Killing Floor: Incursion is all about shooting, slicing, bludgeoning, or exploding your way through vast hordes of mutants. You can expect to see a five-stage campaign delving into the secrets behind Horzine and their relationship with the Zeds, an endless horde mode where you have to fight to your last breath, a variety of different weapons that range from axes to sniper rifles, and most importantly, the ability to play solo or in co-op.
If you're wondering what all of this might look like in-game, wonder no more as the developers have recently released a rather lengthy launch trailer. Have a gander, it should give you a pretty damn good idea of what to expect from Incursion:

Call of Duty: WW2 is set to arrive this November 3rd for PC and consoles, a mere few days from the time of writing. So if you're wondering what sort of PC you'll need in order to even run it, as well as what extra features you can expect to see, wonder no more as the developers have now released all of the information.
The full list of features and imminent bug fixes is a bit too long to summarize, so if you're interested in an all of the details you should head on over to Steam. On the other hand, if you're just interested in the system requirements, you'll find them right below. Have a look:
