After a fairly lengthy period of turmoil, CDPR unleashed the Homecoming update back in October and pretty much rebuilt Gwent from the ground up. While initial impressions weren't exactly great, CDPR stuck to their guns and slowly but surely brought Gwent into a rather nice position, both in terms of balance and design.

In order to improve things further, as well as give players more toys to mess around with, CDPR has now also announced a brand new expansion - Crimson Curse. While the name alone should clue you in on what exactly the Crimson Curse will be about, you can also find out in the recently posted teaser trailer down below. Have a peek, it's quite a fun video:

When it comes to the actual content, CDPR hasn't revealed much just yet. What I can tell you is that the Crimson Curse will bring in over 100 new cards, including 31 neutral ones and 14 faction-exclusive cards for each faction, as well as a variety of new keywords to explore. Only five cards have been revealed so far, but if you're looking for a bit of a sneak peek, you can find what you seek over at the official website.

Once CDPR releases a more thorough list of cards I'll make sure to let you know, but until then I'm afraid all we can do is sit and wait as the Crimson Curse slowly inches its way towards the March 28th release date.
