[Update]: The Outer Worlds is coming to Steam on October 23, 2020.
While Fallout 3 and 4 are certainly fun games, and ones that I've replayed a couple of times each, it is Fallout: New Vegas that I feel is the very best of the modern trilogy. It's a bit clunky and the gunplay isn't as good as Fallout 4's, sure, but Fallout: New Vegas really excels when it comes to the RPG elements and world-building, both things I value quite heavily!
With that in mind, I hope you can realize just how happy I am to say that the upcoming RPG The Outer Worlds seems to be following in Fallout: New Vegas' footsteps, just with more interesting combat and weapons! Here's what all of it looks like in-game:

If you ever gave up on Path of Exile because of how slow and cumbersome the early-game melee combat is, you might want to give it a second chance now that the Legion update has arrived. It has not only rebalanced a whole host of melee skills, but it has also greatly improved how they function, how powerful they feel, and perhaps most importantly of all, how much set-up they need before they're truly fun to mess around with.
The Legion update has also enhanced the AI some of the early-game creatures and bosses in order to make them easier to predict and a bit more interesting to fight. While a minor improvement to early-game content, it is worth mentioning that these monsters make a frequent appereance in the end-game map system as well, which is where these fairness-focused changes will see the biggest impact.

If you're itching for some more Battlefield V content, you might be interested to hear that EA has now announced that four new maps will be coming as a part of Chapter 4. Best of all, the first of these maps, Al Sudan (pretty sure the "Sundan" in the trailer is a typo), will be coming this June with a whole bunch of lovely locations to fight your fellow players in!
Once you get tired of all the open areas in Al Sudan, the close-quarters focused Marita map and its July release date should be just around the corner. Expect to see tight alleyways and even tighter cliffside passages, plenty of ambush spots for the those of you that love to be a bit sneaky, as well as numerous houses riddled with windows to further spice things up.

Despite being announced about a year ago, very little is known about Isomniac's VR adventure Stormland. Still, what has been revealed so far is actually pretty exciting! Insomniac has shown off some incredible visuals, a variety of ways to move across the landscape that range from gliding to scaling sheer cliffs, as well as an intriguing array of makeshift weaponry to dispatch anything that dares stand before you. Best of all, they even announced that Stormland will have co-op!
So while the details are still few and far between, I am glad to say that Stormland has now received a new trailer that highlights the story, as well as a variety of new locations. Have a gander, it's a rather pretty one:

[Update #2]: Fallen Order's sequel, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is heading to PC and consoles on March 17th, 2023.
[Update]: Respawn has now released an even longer gameplay preview!
Respawn Entertainment announced that they are working on a brand new Star Wars game quite a while ago, though they never really explained what it's going to be about. Even when they released the cinematic trailer about a month ago, we were still in the dark when it comes to the actual gameplay.
With that in mind, I am happy to say that the silence has now finally been broken, and in the best way possible! What I mean by that is that Respawn has now released a lengthy gameplay demo showcasing just what Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has to offer. Have a look:

[Update #2]: Respawn has now released a video preview showing off all of the major Season 2 features!
[Update]: Respawn has now also detailed the weapon changes and additions coming in with Season 2.
After a couple of months of limited updates, things are now finally starting to speed up for Apex Legends. The Legendary Hunt event has recently landed alongside a variety of bug fixes, balance changes and cosmetic skins, while the upcoming Season 2 is set to offer a whole bunch of new content.
First and foremost, Season 2 will bring with it a new defense-focused Legend called Wattson. She'll be able to place electric fences that damage and slow enemies while stretching surprisingly far, whereas her ultimate will destroy any projectiles (bombs and grenades) within its range and slowly recharge allied shields. Best of all, Wattson's passive will make it so even a single ultimate accelerant will fully recharge her ultimate!

Out of all the problems Bethesda ran into with Fallout 76, the whole canvas bag scandal is perhaps the biggest and stupidest. Instead of shipping a small canvas bag as a part of the super-expensive Power Armor Collector's Edition, they sent out the cheaper nylon bags, which as you might imagine was instantly met with criticism.
If we weren't stuck in the darker timeline this story would've ended with Bethesda apologizing and sending people their bags, but instead they initially brushed the problem off. After receiving even more negative press, they finally 'capitulated' by giving players the equivalent of $5 of in-game currency, which then fueled the flames even further. Eventually they saw reason and agreed to send the players their canvas bags, after which everyone was about as happy as you could possibly be in this sort of situation.

[Update]: Ubisoft has now released an extremely detailed list of PC system requirements and recommendations for Ghost Recon Breakpoint!
After the immense success of Ghost Recon Wildlands, it was only a matter of time before Ubisoft attempted to push the formula even further. As such, it should come as little surprise to hear that Ghost Recon Breakpoint has now been officially announced alongside a rather stellar new trailer!
Before you get too excited, it is worth mentioning that despite it being called a "gameplay trailer", the video feature an extremely small amount of actual gameplay, and even that is over-edited to the point where you can't even tell what's really happening. That said, it's still a pretty exciting cinematic trailer, so do make sure to give it a look:

It may have launched with quite a few problems, but Darksiders 3 has slowly but surely managed to transform itself into a rather enjoyable experience. One of the earlier patches brought in the classic combat mode, then The Crucible DLC gave everyone a fresh reason to beat up hundreds of demons, after which the developers took things a step further by adding a New Game Plus mode with its own unique encounters and enemy, as well as a brand new difficulty setting.
However, if you've already beaten everything Darksiders 3 has to offer and you're looking for something a bit more sizable, you might be glad to hear that the Keepers of the Void DLC will be coming this July for both PC and consoles. While the details are still few and far between, Keepers of the Void will be a hefty piece of DLC with its own story, enemies, locations, and powerful items to acquire.
