Atmospheric sci-fi adventure Deliver Us Mars has been pushed back to February 2nd, 2023

Following in the footsteps of its predecessor Deliver Us The Moon, the upcoming Deliver Us Mars is an atmospheric sci-fi adventure about a high-stakes mission to recover lost colony ships on the Red Planet. Along the way you'll need to overcome a variety of physical challenges and hostile environments, solve the occasional puzzle to keep the brain juices flowing, and unsurprisingly, try to figure out why in the world someone would steal a bunch of colony ships in a universe where humanity is nearing extinction!
If that sounds like the type of adventure you'd love to embark on, I'm afraid I have a bit of bad news to deliver. Instead of launching this September as previously announced, Deliver Us Mars has now been pushed back to February 2nd, 2023.
MultiVersus' Season 1 update has just added the first Battle Pass, while Rick & Morty will be coming soon

[Update #2]: MultiVersus Patch 1.03 has added Rick Sanchez and doubled exp requirements for early character levels
[Update]: MultiVersus Patch 1.01 has now added Morty alongside a brand new batch of balance changes.
In an effort to the keep the momentum going from its monumentally successful launch, the MultiVersus team has now unleashed a chunky update. The freshly launched Season 1 brings with it an assortment of balance changes, two new game modes (Classic Arcade & Ranked), the very first Battle Pass, as well as teasers for four new characters: Morty, Rick, Black Adam and Stripe.
The exact details for the four characters are still few and far between, but what I can tell you is that Morty will be joining the madhouse on August 23rd as the first (and likely only) Plumbus-wielding bruiser. Rick, Black Adam and Stripe will all be coming at a later date, though given that Rick actually has a character portrait unlike the other two, I'd say it's highly likely that he's going to be the next one in line after Morty.
Sonic Adventure inspired action-platformer Spark the Electric Jester 3 has now landed onto Steam

If you're in the mood for running extremely fast and slamming face-first into heavily armored robots, you might want to give the freshly released Spark the Electric Jester 3 a bit of your time. To put it quite bluntly, it's a Sonic Adventure inspired action-platformer that offers pretty much exactly what you would expect in terms of gameplay - fast paced movement across death-defying drops, plenty of exploration, and the occasional bout of combat to help keep things from slowing down too much.
Since trying to convey a sense of speed through words alone is a bit of a wasted effort, allow me to share with you one of the recent trailers. It should give you a pretty solid idea of what Spark the Electric Jester 3 is going for and what it actually plays like. Have a gander:
Path of Exile's August update "Lake of Kalandra" will allow you to create and explore your own dungeons

[Update]: The Lake of Kalandra expansion has now arrived, though unfortunately alongside some sizable nerfs to loot quantity.
In order to keep everyone entertained while work on Path of Exile 2 continues, Grinding Gear Games have now announced their big August 2022 update - Lake of Kalandra. As the name might imply, the Lake of Kalandra update is going to be all about mirrors and reflections. More specifically, by finding Mirrored Tablets throughout the world you'll be able to create and customize your very own dungeon by placing reflections of dangerous encounters at specific locations.
The further away the encounter is from the dungeon's entrance, the greater its difficulty and reward will be. As you progress through the league you'll also unlock special abilities to skip, reroll and exile the choices you're offered, so by the end you will have the ability to create an incredible (and incredibly deadly) dungeon for yourself to explore.

After the incredibly positive reception of the Battle for Bikini Bottom remaster, THQ Nordic and developer Purple Lamp have now decided to tackle something a bit more ambitious - a completely new game! The freshly announced SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake will bring with it seven unique Wishworlds to explore, featuring everything from the Wild West Jellyfish Fields to the Halloween Rock Bottom.
You can also expect to see plenty of new and returning platforming skills to make traversing the strange new landscapes an enjoyable time, a variety of fan-favorite characters voiced by their original actors, as well as 30 new costumes to toy around with. As for the in-game soundtrack, it'll feature 101 songs from the series, including Sweet Victory.
Slay the Princess is an upcoming horror-adventure about a definitely-not-eldritch-monstrosity princess

[Update]: Slay the Princess has now arrived, and I'm pleased to say it's looking quite good!
Following in the footsteps of something like The Stanley Parable, Slay the Princess is an upcoming horror-adventure where you simply have to slay the princess in order to save the world. What follows next is a series of increasingly bizarre events, time loops and branching paths that greatly affect how the whole story unfolds... as well as how long you get to live!
Since there is no easy way to describe all of this through words alone, allow me to share with you the teaser trailer. It probably won't make you any less confused, but it'll at least give you a good impression of the sort of atmosphere Slay the Princess is going for. Have a little peek:
Guild Wars 2's August 23rd update will buff up many of the long-forgotten builds and specializations

[Update #2]: Guild Wars 2's late November update rebalanced many underperforming classes with endgame PvE and PvP in mind, and this includes the Power Reaper!
[Update]: It took a while, but Guild Wars 2 has now been unleashed onto Steam alongside a massive update.
Even though the June 2022 balance update turned out to be a bit of a disaster since it buffed up the overpowered classes and buried the ones that were already struggling, it might just end up being the best thing that happened to Guild Wars 2 in recent years. Because of the strong community reaction to the changes ArenaNet has already spent a fair bit of effort in bringing underperforming classes back up to par, and they aren't showing any signs of slowing down!
Last time around they reworked the Warrior's worrisome banners and buffed the Mesmer's mediocre Chronomancer specialization, and with the upcoming August 23rd update they're looking to ramp things up even further. This time instead of simply fixing a couple of issues, the update will bring in a massive array of tweaks to many of the long-forgotten builds and specializations!
