Blizzard will be adding cross-platform progression with Overwatch 2

[Update #2]: Overwatch 2 has now unveiled its very first support hero - the wall-climbing, fox themed healer Kiriko. The Blizzard team has also taken this opportunity to detail Overwatch 2's Battle Pass, hero unlock system, as well as their plans for future updates.
[Update]: Overwatch's September 13th Last Chance event will give you one last shot at spending your Credits.
Last year Blizzard made a huge step forward for Overwatch and brought in cross-platform multiplayer. However, while you could play with your friends regardless of their platform, actually playing on multiple platforms yourself was a massive annoyance since your progress wouldn't carry over between them.
Thankfully, all of this will soon be a thing of the past. Starting today, anyone logging in on the console version of the game will be prompted to link together all of their accounts. The one big catch is that you'll only be able to merge with one account per platform, so while you can have PC-Xbox-PlayStation-Switch linked together, you won't be able to do the same with PC-Xbox-Xbox for example.

[Update]: Tempest Rising's lengthy developer-guided preview offers a closer look at the campaign and gameplay mechanics.
If you're a fan of the oldschool Command & Conquer games and you mourn the direction the series took before its unceremonious demise, you might want to keep an eye on the upcoming Tempest Rising. To put it simply, it's a classic base building RTS with three asymmetrical factions featuring an assortment of unique units, playstyles and economies to wrangle with.
As for what all of this looks like in actual gameplay, as well as how exactly it ties into Command & Conquer, that you can find out by giving the reveal trailer below a moment of your time. Have a gander:

[Update]: Street Fighter 6 will be launching onto PC and consoles on June 2, 2023 alongside 18 characters.
While Street Fighter 6's release date is still a nebulous 'at some point in 2023', Capcom has at least kept things interesting by slowly revealing new characters. So far they've confirmed Ryu, Luke, Jamie, Chun-Li and Guile, while the latest preview has added Kimberly and Juri to the list.
What the two of them look like in action, as well as what their fighting style is all about, that you can get a bit of a sneak peek at through the gameplay preview below. Have a gander:

[Update #2]: Guild Wars 2's October 4th update will empower old specializations and rebalance classes for PvP.
[Update]: Right on cue, Guild Wars 2 has now been unleashed onto Steam alongside a massive update.
After teasing the Steam version for a very, very long time at this point, ArenaNet has finally spilled the beans! In celebration of the game's 10th anniversary, Guild Wars 2 and its expansions will be heading over to Steam on August 23rd.
Much like the current version of Guild Wars 2, all of the base content (barring some small restrictions to free accounts) will be available for free on Steam. Once you're done exploring the world you can continue your adventure by grabbing either the Heart of Thorns & Path of Fire expansion bundle, the newest End of Dragons expansion, or the pack containing all of the Living World episodes.
Crusader Kings 3 will be doubling the price of its smaller DLC packs next month

[Update]: The price increase has now arrived, and I can only hope the DLC quality will rise with it as well.
If any of the two smaller Crusader Kings 3 DLCs interest you (Northern Lords and Fate of Iberia), you might want to grab them sooner rather than later. I say this because Paradox has just announced that these Flavor Packs, and any coming in the future, will be going up from $6,99 to $12,99.
"As of September 13, we will be altering the prices of our Flavor Packs (Northern Lords and Fate of Iberia) to reflect the overall value of this kind of content moving forward," explains the brief update. "The price change will not affect the price of the Base Game, Royal Court, or the Royal Edition—those prices will remain unaffected. If you are already a holder of the Royal Edition or Expansion Pack 1, you are all set and nothing will change for you and your versions of the game."
Atmospheric sci-fi adventure Deliver Us Mars has been pushed back to February 2nd, 2023

Following in the footsteps of its predecessor Deliver Us The Moon, the upcoming Deliver Us Mars is an atmospheric sci-fi adventure about a high-stakes mission to recover lost colony ships on the Red Planet. Along the way you'll need to overcome a variety of physical challenges and hostile environments, solve the occasional puzzle to keep the brain juices flowing, and unsurprisingly, try to figure out why in the world someone would steal a bunch of colony ships in a universe where humanity is nearing extinction!
If that sounds like the type of adventure you'd love to embark on, I'm afraid I have a bit of bad news to deliver. Instead of launching this September as previously announced, Deliver Us Mars has now been pushed back to February 2nd, 2023.
MultiVersus' Season 1 update has just added the first Battle Pass, while Rick & Morty will be coming soon

[Update #2]: MultiVersus Patch 1.03 has added Rick Sanchez and doubled exp requirements for early character levels
[Update]: MultiVersus Patch 1.01 has now added Morty alongside a brand new batch of balance changes.
In an effort to the keep the momentum going from its monumentally successful launch, the MultiVersus team has now unleashed a chunky update. The freshly launched Season 1 brings with it an assortment of balance changes, two new game modes (Classic Arcade & Ranked), the very first Battle Pass, as well as teasers for four new characters: Morty, Rick, Black Adam and Stripe.
The exact details for the four characters are still few and far between, but what I can tell you is that Morty will be joining the madhouse on August 23rd as the first (and likely only) Plumbus-wielding bruiser. Rick, Black Adam and Stripe will all be coming at a later date, though given that Rick actually has a character portrait unlike the other two, I'd say it's highly likely that he's going to be the next one in line after Morty.
