The Division 2 will be coming to PC and consoles this March 15th, bringing with it a variety of improvements over the original, as well as some rather nifty PC-exclusive features. If you would like to give it a try beforehand and see how all of that looks like in-game, you might be glad to hear that Ubisoft will be holding an Open Beta from March 1st to 4th.

Unlike the previous Private Beta, there will be no special requirements for the Open Beta. Once it goes live, all you'll need to do is create or log in to your Uplay account, download the beta client, and you'll be ready to roam across The Division 2's world until March 4th. A relatively short time frame, but still plenty of time to let you know whether The Division 2 is your kind of game or not.

MTG Arena has now banned the highly controversial Nexus of Fate card from best-of-one formats

Out of all the cards currently available in MTG Arena's Standard format, there is one that is hated above all else - Nexus of Fate. On its own Nexus of Fate is not ridiculously overpowered, and in a best-of-three format it's entirely possible to deal with it in an efficient manner, but when it comes to MTG Arena's most popular best-of-one formats, things are not quite as simple.

First of all, due to the nature of best-of-one matchmaking, the vast majority of decks have very limited ways of interrupting Nexus of Fate decks. As you might imagine, this makes them particularly annoying to fight against since their entire game plan is to start chaining turns until you simply don't get to play the game anymore.

After appearing pretty much out of nowhere, THQ Nordic has quickly managed to acquire a wide variety studios and game IPs. Just recently they've revived the Darksiders series, acquired the rights to classic games like TimeSplitters, Kingdoms of Amalur and Carmageddon, as well brought Deep Silver and their Metro series under their wing.

The latest in this series of acquisitions is Warhorse Studios and their medieval RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Much like before, THQ Nordic has not revealed what exactly they have planned for Warhorse Studios, but given that the leadership has remained exactly the same, it appears that they will be there to finance and market the studio's next game.

Instead of a simple DLC, Hollow Knight: Silksong will be a fully-fledged sequel starring Hornet

Ever since Hollow Knight first released and became a massive success, Team Cherry has been teasing us with small updates about the upcoming DLC starring Hornet. It was initially supposed to take place on the same map and mostly differentiate itself from the original game through Hornet's unique moveset, story and a couple of additional bosses. However, as the project went on and quickly grew in scope, Team Cherry decided to scrap the DLC idea and instead create a fully-fledged sequel - Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Silksong will bring with it a giant new kingdom to explore, over 150 new enemies and bosses to fight against, a wide-variety of new abilities to toy around with, and naturally, a whole bunch of upgrades to collect. And if you find yourself looking for even greater challenges, you might be glad to hear that Silksong will also offer a brand new post-game mode that "spins the game into a unique, challenging experience"

Apex Legends' latest developer update discusses performance, cheaters and plans for the future

Apex Legends released a little over a week ago, and already it has managed to become incredibly successful. According to one of the recent announcements, Apex Legends has had more than 25 million players roam across its world, with over 2 million people playing at the same time throughout the weekend. Truly impressive numbers for a game that has launched without any sort of marketing campaign.

However, while Apex Legends is a pretty darn good game, it does still have some major problems. Crashes are a surprisingly common occurrence regardless of how powerful one's PC might be, there are some noticeable issues with lag when playing at prime time, and as is tradition with free-to-play games, there are a whole bunch of cheaters running around. In order to address these problems, as well as announce their plans for the future, Respawn has now released the first of a series of developer updates.
