After already gathering quite a few positive reviews from the console crowd, the colorful action-platformer Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom will be coming to PC this July 25th. Best of all, the PC version will be cheaper than the console ones, though no exact price has been announced just yet.
As far as the actual gameplay is concerned, Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom plays somewhat like a standard action-adventure. In other words, expect to see a whole bunch of enemies to beat up, environmental puzzles to solve, bosses to repeatedly stab in the shins, and naturally, secrets to hunt down in search of fancy new upgrades. Oh, and you can also transform into six different forms, each one with their own unique abilities!
Path of Exile devs have detailed the upcoming massive and melee-focused balance changes

[Update]: The melee-focused Legion update has now arrived!
While most spells in Path of Exile are really fun to mess around with, the melee combat often leaves a lot to be desired. This goes doubly so in the early game when you don't have access to some of the most important support gems, meaning you'll spend most your time swinging around a slow and unwieldy weapon, which is about as fun as it sounds.
With that in mind, you might be glad to hear that these problems will soon be a thing of the past! Once the massive Legion update arrives in three days, melee combat will be receiving a bit of rework, melee abilities will be getting some much-needed improvements, while some of the most powerful spells and items from the previous league will finally get smacked with the nerf-bat.

"Whilst almost ready, the game simply needs a little more refinement before being truly finished," reads the official update. "We feel that the extra time we have will help us deliver the true Shenmue experience players around the world deserve!"

[Update]: Celeste's free Chapter 9 update has now arrived with over 100 new levels, and they're pretty good!
Back in 2018, the developers behind the excellent indie platformer Celeste announced that they will be releasing a bunch of new levels in early 2019 to celebrate their 500,000 copies sold milestone. As you're hopefully well aware, early 2019 has come and gone, but the free update has yet to appear.
Thankfully, this is not because of any behind-the-scenes problems, but rather because the developers have greatly increased the scope of the update. Instead of just a couple of new levels to say goodbye to Celeste, the upcoming update has now ballooned in size to over 100 new levels!
Civilization VI devs have detailed the improvements coming in with the free June update

- in News
While not as big as an actual expansion, Civilization VI will be getting a pretty sizable free update this June. First and foremost, there will be more diverse ways to increase your production, which should greatly increase your options in the early game. Quarries, pastures and lumber mills will be getting buffed to be more in-line with mines, and perhaps more importantly, you will be able to build lumber mills on rainforest tiles!
The pacing of technologies is also getting a bit of a rebalance, with the biggest change being the increase in cost from the medieval to atomic era. This, combined with some of the new technology requirements, should make for a much more pleasant multiplayer experience.

[Update #2]: The Surge 2 now has a lengthy and rather exciting developer walkthrough!
[Update]: Well, in the process of writing all of this up, it would appear that Deck 13 has gone and announced the release date themselves. It's official - The Surge 2 will be launching this September 24th!
[Old story]: Despite being announced all the way back in early 2018 and set for a 2019 release date, very little has been heard about The Surge 2 for quite a few months. And with Lords of the Fallen 2 recently losing its main developer, there were also quite a few rumors about The Surge 2 having a troubled development as well.
Thankfully, it would appear that The Surge 2 is chugging along quite nicely! In fact, according to the pre-order listing on the Microsoft website, The Surge 2 will be arriving in the relatively near future - September 23rd!
