[Update]: Ubisoft has now released an extremely detailed list of PC system requirements and recommendations for Ghost Recon Breakpoint!
After the immense success of Ghost Recon Wildlands, it was only a matter of time before Ubisoft attempted to push the formula even further. As such, it should come as little surprise to hear that Ghost Recon Breakpoint has now been officially announced alongside a rather stellar new trailer!
Before you get too excited, it is worth mentioning that despite it being called a "gameplay trailer", the video feature an extremely small amount of actual gameplay, and even that is over-edited to the point where you can't even tell what's really happening. That said, it's still a pretty exciting cinematic trailer, so do make sure to give it a look:
Darksiders 3's second major DLC "Keepers of the Void" is set to arrive this July

It may have launched with quite a few problems, but Darksiders 3 has slowly but surely managed to transform itself into a rather enjoyable experience. One of the earlier patches brought in the classic combat mode, then The Crucible DLC gave everyone a fresh reason to beat up hundreds of demons, after which the developers took things a step further by adding a New Game Plus mode with its own unique encounters and enemy, as well as a brand new difficulty setting.
However, if you've already beaten everything Darksiders 3 has to offer and you're looking for something a bit more sizable, you might be glad to hear that the Keepers of the Void DLC will be coming this July for both PC and consoles. While the details are still few and far between, Keepers of the Void will be a hefty piece of DLC with its own story, enemies, locations, and powerful items to acquire.

[Update #2]: Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair now has a free demo available on PC.
[Update]: Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair has now been pinned for an October 8th release date!
While Yooka-Laylee unfortunately didn't manage to reach the same levels of excellence as Banjo-Kazooie, it was still a pretty fun game and one that only got better with each subsequent update. With that in mind, I am very glad to say that the team behind it is now once again making a Yooka-Laylee platformer, though with a bit of a twist!
Instead of Yooka-Laylee 2, Playtonic has now announced a seemingly Donkey Kong inspired 2D platformer called Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair! Here's a brief trailer showcasing just what it's all about:

Overwatch's third Anniversary update arrived a little while ago, bringing with it a whole bunch of content to play around with. Throughout the Anniversary event you can acquire a variety of new cosmetics, all of the previous event cosmetics, experience all of the previous event game modes, as well as try out the newly introduced and highly enjoyable Workshop modding tools and game modes!
In order to get everyone into the festive mood, Blizzard has also now launched a double experience weekened for both PC and consoles. The event will last until June 10th and the bonuses will apply to every single game mode, so no matter what playstyle you might enjoy, you'll be able to secure yourself a whole bunch of new loot!
Destiny 2 is going free-to-play, moving to Steam, and getting cross-platform saves

[Update]: Destiny 2's PC transfer service and cross-platform saves will be going live on August 20 and 21 respectively.
Earlier this year Bungie parted ways with Activision-Blizzard and announced exciting plans for the future, though back then they didn't specify what exactly those plans might entail. Now that the full announcement has been made, I can definitely see why they didn't want to reveal their hand ahead of time!
First and foremost, Destiny 2 will be adopting a free-to-play model with optional expansion packs. In other words, you'll be able to experience all of the year one missions, activities, strikes, pvp modes and rewards without paying even a single cent. However, if you would like to continue on further, you will need to buy each of the new expansions piece by piece. A pretty good system, all things considered.
Darksiders Genesis is a newly announced top-down ARPG starring the gunslinger Strife

THQ Nordic announced a little while ago that they would be revealing a brand new Darksiders game, which as you might imagine, made everyone think we'll be getting Darksiders 4 starring the gunslinger Strife. As it turns out, that ended up being only technically true!
We are getting a new Darksiders game and it will indeed star the gun-toting Strife, though it will not be Darksiders 4, but rather a top-down ARPG spin-off called Darksiders Genesis! Here's a brief trailer showing off what Genesis has to offer:
Apex Legends devs have detailed which bugs they're currently working on squashing

[Update #3]: Respawn has now released an updated list of bugs and gameplay problems they're currently working on fixing.
[Update #2]: The first of these bugfixing patches has now arrived with some solid changes in tow!
[Update]: Respawn has now also announced the contents of the upcoming Season 2!
Apex Legends' most recent update has added a whole bunch of new cosmetics, quality-of-life changes and bug fixes. While all of this is certainly a step in the right direction, the update has unfortunately also brought with it some brand new problems.
Most notably, the Havoc and Devotion have received a substantial ammo reduction, while any sort of aiming done while sliding is now Stormtrooper levels of inaccurate. Players are also having problems with the game constantly putting them on the wrong servers, the audio glitching out while they're playing Octane, the healing keybinds not function correctly, and other such lovely new 'features'.
