[Update]: Respawn has now released an updated list of bugs and gameplay problems they're currently working on fixing.

Apex Legends' most recent major update has brought in a variety of challenges, new cosmetics to collect, the rather exciting Elite Queue, as well as a variety of balance changes and quality of life improvements. However, as is tradition, the update has also brought with it quite a few new problems.

Respawn is thankfully well aware of these issues and have already posted an official list of bugs they're currently working on squashing. Better yet, rather than simply talk about it, they have now also released the first of the bug-fixing updates in order to sort out some of the more problematic ones!

First and foremost, the position of armor within loot boxes is no longer randomized, so if you're like me and you love restocking your armor mid-battle, you will no longer have to spend precious seconds scrolling through someone's entire inventory! The second major fix is that the insanely high accuracy penalty while sliding and aiming down sights has now been removed. A small change in the grand scheme of things, but one that really does make Apex Legends feel a lot better to actually play.

The rest of the changes are relatively minor, though there are two I would like to highlight: Caustic's gas is now no longer able to penetrate walls, while Octane's ultimate jump pad will now no longer glitch so badly that half the server loses the ability to hear anything other than their own gunfire! You can find the full list of changes over at Reddit.

Once the next update arrives I'll make sure to let you know, but until then you might want to check out what's coming to Apex Legends in Season 2. It's pretty exciting stuff!
