[Update]: Red Dead Online has now gone standalone and is only $5 until February, 2021.
After a brief period of exclusivity, the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 is now just about ready to make its way to Steam. According to Rockstar Games' recent tweet, you can expect to see it arrive this December 5th alongside all of the currently available patches.
In other words, most of the bugs and crashes that have plagued the PC version throughout its first few weeks should be fixed for the Steam release. Even so, I would highly advise waiting for some of the user reviews to pop up before grabbing yourself a copy, just to be on the safe side.
The latest Humble Bundle is filled to the brim with Sonic the Hedgehog games

If you ever wanted to get into the Sonic the Hedgehog series, this latest Humble Bundle would be a pretty good place to start. It features a variety of classic Sonic games, as well as some of the more modern ones like Sonic Forces and the truly excellent Sonic Mania.
The one thing the bundle is sadly missing out on is Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, a kart racing game that is more than capable of standing shoulder to shoulder with the likes of Mario Kart. I can only imagine this was done in order to prop up the recently released and somewhat disappointing Team Sonic Racing, but either way, it's a shame to have such an excellent game not featured in this kind of bundle.
Facebook's Oculus has acquired the studio behind the VR hit Beat Saber

At its core, Beat Saber is an incredibly simple VR game. It's all about listening to your favorite music and smashing boxes with lightsabers, which you wouldn't think would be all that addictive, but is actually strangely captivating and quite relaxing if you can accept having sore arms afterwards!
Because of this, Beat Saber has managed to achieve a great deal of success in the VR scene, so much so that Facebook's Oculus has now decided to acquire both it and its developer Beat Games. According to the press release, Beat Games will continue operating as an independent studio, while all of the currently planned Beat Saber updates and features will be arriving as expected.

Having Overwatch be free to try out around the Christmas season is a tradition at this point, though unlike the past two years, Blizzard has now pushed the date forward quite considerably. In other words, the free trial event is already live, and will remain active until December 4th!
So if you're interested in Overwatch and you've somehow managed to miss the previous dozen free trials, this would be a pretty good time to start out. Overwatch has just recently received Role Queue and the 2/2/2 role lock, which will give you a chance to experience the gameplay with as balanced of a composition as possible.

[Update #2]: The Shadow & The Blade DLC and its accompanying update have now arrived, and so far they have been quite amazing!
[Update]: Creative Assembly has now released a preview showcasing the new Dark Elf units, as well as what Malus Darkblade has to offer on the campaign map.
If you're not a fan of having free time, you might be interested to hear that Creative Assembly has just announced a whole bunch of new content for Total War: Warhammer 2. First and foremost, the The Shadow & The Blade DLC will bring with it Malus Darkblade and Deathmaster Snikch as unique Legendary Lords, as well as a whole bunch of new units and heroes to round up the Skaven and Dark Elf armies.
The update will also bring with it a variety of improvements and quality of life changes, the most important of which is a 60% end-turn timer reduction for Mortal Empires, all without cutting any factions or AI interactions! And if that wasn't enough to get you to start a brand new campaign, I'm also happy to say that the Bretonnian Jeanne d'Arc equivalent Repanse de Lyonesse will be coming to both Mortal Empires and the Vortex Campaign alongside her trusty Grail Knight companion Henri le Massif.

You can get a pretty good idea of what the PC version looks like, as well as what the core storyline is all about, through the recently posted teaser trailer. Have a gander, it's a pretty short one:
Deathgarden: Bloodharvest will be closing down its servers at the end of 2019

One would think that if anyone is capable of creating a compelling, asymmetrical multiplayer game, it would be the team that had already managed to do just that with Dead by Daylight. Unfortunately, Behaviour Digital's newest game Deathgarden: Bloodharvest has not managed to impress players or maintain a decently sized audience, and as such is now being shut down.
"Over the past few weeks, our team has been rather quiet about the development of Deathgarden," reads the rather somber developer update. "Witnessing the decreasing player base, we’ve been working on finding solutions: we sought advice, considered many different scenarios, looked at various solutions, but unfortunately, none of them would change the fate of this project. Today, it is with a heavy heart that we’re announcing the end of Deathgarden’s development"
