If you're in the mood for an oldschool survival-horror game, you might want to keep an eye out for the upcoming Summerford. It's a Resident Evil and Silent Hill inspired horror game with plenty of exploration, puzzle-solving, resource management, and naturally, a little bit of action to glue everything together.

Summerford is still in development, but you can get a bit of an idea of what to expect through the recently posted teaser trailer. Have a peek:

While the atmosphere and setting seem to be quite intense, the animations are in need of a fair bit of work. As it stands, the character just feels overly stiff and unnatural while walking, and this is without even mentioning how oddly she interacts with objects on the ground while stomping over them. That said, Summerford is still quite clearly unfinished, so hopefully everything will be ironed out by the time it releases in the summer of 2020.
