[Update]: Blackwing Lair and its accompanying features have now arrived to World of Warcraft: Classic!
If you're tired of the endless fires of Molten Core and you're looking for a bit of variety, I have both good and bad news. The good news is that the Blackwing Lair raid is set to arrive this February 12th, while the bad news is that it once again features a whole bunch of fire-breathing monsters and endless corridors.
Besides Blackwing Lair, the update will also add the long-awaited level 50 class quests. While these might not sound impressive on paper, they each offer a selection of three powerful rare items, some of which are so strong that you might just struggle to replace them even in raids!

[Update #2]: Trails of Cold Steel III has now arrived onto PC, and apparently it's even better than its highly reviewed predecessors.
[Update]: Trails of Cold Steel III now has a lengthy and highly detailed demo available for the PC version!
The first two Trails of Cold Steel games released onto PC via Steam in 2017 and 2018 respectively, and both have since then acquired a massive amount of positive reviews. So if you're in the mood for another story-rich JRPG, you might be glad to hear that Trails of Cold Steel III will be coming to PC this March 23rd as well!
Much like its predecessors, the PC version of Trails of Cold Steel III will bring with it a variety of enhancements. You can expect to see ultrawide screen support, fully customizable keybinds, enhanced visuals, auto-save functionality, and perhaps most importantly of all, the ability to speed up the gameplay by up to six times!

[Update]: Rocket League has gone free-to-play alongside a major new update.
In a bit of a surprising announcement, Psyonix has now come out to say that they will soon be ending support for both macOS and Linux platforms. Their final update will be in March, after which all online functionality (including in-game purchases and matchmaking) will be disabled entirely.
On the positive side, offline features like local matches and splitscreen play will remain fully accessible. Furthermore, if you've purchased Rocket League for Mac or Linux on Steam, you will be able to continue playing on the Windows version without an additional purchase or a reset on your profile.

If you're in the mood for an oldschool survival-horror game, you might want to keep an eye out for the upcoming Summerford. It's a Resident Evil and Silent Hill inspired horror game with plenty of exploration, puzzle-solving, resource management, and naturally, a little bit of action to glue everything together.
Summerford is still in development, but you can get a bit of an idea of what to expect through the recently posted teaser trailer. Have a peek:

[Update #2]: Doom Eternal has now been released, and I'm happy to say the reviews so far are pretty darn good.
[Update]: Bethesda has now detailed the PC system requirements and recommendations for Doom Eternal.
If you've enjoyed the story threads sprinkled throughout Doom 2016, you'll be glad to hear that Doom Eternal will have even more characters and storylines to dive into. On other other hand, if you're simply in it for the pleasure of ripping and tearing demons apart, worry not as it seems there'll be plenty of that as well!
You can get a pretty good impression of what both sides of the Doom Eternal coin will look like in-game through the recently posted and unsurprisingly action-packed trailer. Have a gander, it's quite a fun one:
Cyberpunk 2077 has now been delayed until late September, 2020

[Update]: Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed yet again, this time until December 10, 2020.
If you were hoping to dive into Cyberpunk 2077 this April 16th, I'm afraid I have some bad news. According to a recent developer update, Cyberpunk 2077 has now been delayed until September 17, 2020.
As for the reasoning behind the delay, it's pretty much the same story you've heard with the other games that have been pushed back this year. In other words, the development team needs a few extra months to ensure everything is as polished as it could possibly be, before finally unleashing millions of players to wreak havoc upon the game world.

[Update #2]: Deep Rock Galactic will be digging its way out of Steam Early Access this May 13th!
[Update]: Ghost Ship Games have now updated the roadmap ahead of full release, as well as revealed what Update 29 will bring with it.
Deep Rock Galactic will be releasing from Steam Early Access in the second quarter of 2020. In order to prepare the stage for launch, Ghost Ship Games have announced that they will be putting all of their efforts into polishing existing content, adding some long-awaited quality-of-life changes, as well as bringing in a couple of new features to help spice things up a bit.
The newest update combines all three of those thing by heavily reworking the perk system, as well as adding a variety of new perks to play around with. The most important change, however, is the split into active and passive perks. Active perks are significantly more powerful, but either have a cooldown or can only be used a certain times per match. Meanwhile, the passive perks are somewhat weaker, though they are always active and can help shape the entirety of your playstyle.
