Deep Rock Galactic minigun firing from up close

[Update]: The day has finally come - Deep Rock Galactic has now been unleashed from Steam Early Access!

After spending some quality time in Steam Early Access, the co-op focused Deep Rock Galactic is now nearly ready for its full release! According to the recent announcement, you can expect version 1.0 to arrive this May 13th alongside a major update.

As for what exactly Deep Rock Galactic even is, as well as what it looks like in action, that you can find out through the recently posted trailer. Have a gander, it's a rather long and informative one:

It's worth mentioning that while Deep Rock Galactic does have two pieces of cosmetic DLC, the vast majority of the fancy hats and weapon skins can only be acquired through in-game means. The good news doesn't end there, however, as Ghost Ship Games have also revealed that they will not be increasing the game's price as originally planned. In other words, grabbing Deep Rock Galactic will set you back $30, just as it did a year ago.

As for the future, it shouldn't come as too much of a surprise to hear that Ghost Ship Games are planning to continue supporting Deep Rock Galactic long after launch. The details are obviously nonexistent as the upcoming release is currently the number one priority, but there will be a brand new roadmap coming in the next few weeks to showcase just what the team has planned.

To learn more about Deep Rock Galactic, as well as keep an eye on any future announcements, you should head on over to Steam.
