The upcoming Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 will star a Corgi in a mech suit

Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 screnshot of Hachi - the corgi in a mech suit

[Update #2]: Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 has just arrived with its mech-piloting Corgi!

[Update]: Good news! Curse of the Moon 2 will also bring with it all of the original characters, and will have two-player co-op!

The original Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon was released as a part of the Kickstarter stretch goals for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. However, while Curse of the Moon may have started off as a small spin-off game, it ended up being a genuinely good homage to the oldschool Castlevania games!

With that in mind, I am very happy to say that a brand new sequel is now in the works. Not only will Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 expand upon its predecessor both in terms of content and complexity, but it will also add a couple of new characters to mess around with: Dominique the healer, Robert the gunslinger, and most importantly of all, Hachi - a corgi piloting a mech suit!

[Update]: Prison Architect's Going Green DLC has added farming, green energy and even more trouble.

If you're looking to expand your Prison Architect experience in a bit of a nautical direction, you might want to check out the Island Bound expansion. As the name would imply, Island Bound gives you the ability to manage a prison complex on an island, which brings with it a whole assortment of new challenges to overcome, as well as new toys to play around with.

Due to the fairly small building area, you'll need to carefully manage your construction and staff, rely on both ferries and helicopters to transport prisoners and supplies, and even worry about an assortment of new problems like the greater influx of contraband because of all of the added transport options. And if you're feeling particularly benevolent, there's also a variety of new objects and activities for your prisoners to enjoy in between the bi-weekly rioting.

Vermintide 2 has added the mighty Grail Knight class and weather variations for maps

[Update #2]: Fatshark has now added a magic-focused career for Kerillian - Sister of the Thorn!

[Update]: Vermintide 2's second post-launch career is the minigun-wielding Outcast Engineer.

After being requested time and time again, Vermintide 2 has now finally added lighting and weather variations for all outdoor areas! That said, while the presence of rain or darkness might impact visibility, none of the actual gameplay will be changed based on weather - so don't worry about sliding all over the place during a blizzard!

Besides the weather variations, this update has also been accompanied by a brand new piece of DLC containing Vermintide 2's very first additional career - the Grail Knight. As you would expect from the living embodiment of chivalry, the Grail Knight never engages enemies in ranged combat, preferring to instead charge into the thickest melee to prove his worth to the godlike Lady of the Lake.

It may have taken what feels like forever, but we're finally getting a brand new Star Wars space combat game! Apex Legends has added mobile respawn beacons, a Crypto themed map area, and Octane buffs

[Update]: Apex Legends' Season 6 is bringing in a new Legend called Rampart, an energy SMG and gear crafting.

If you're looking to dive back into Apex Legends, this would be a pretty good time. The Lost Treasures update has now arrived, bringing with it an assortment of new cosmetics to mess around with, a limited time mode that introduces the mobile respawn beacon item, a Crypto themed area in King's Canyon that lets you scan the entire map, as well as a variety of buffs and nerfs.

That last part is perhaps the most controversial, as while heroes like Octane and Revenant have received some rather nifty buffs, others have not fared nearly as well. Wraith, Pathfinder and Wattson have gone through yet another major nerf, while Lifeline's promised rework has simply shuffled her power around without making her all that stronger in the process.

Minecraft's major Nether rework has now arrived with new biomes, crafting materials and enemies

[Update #2]: First part of Minecraft's colossal Caves & Cliffs update has now brought in some very angry goats.

[Update]: Minecraft's next major update will rework, improve and expand upon Caves & Cliffs.

After spending a surprisingly long amount of time in beta testing, Minecraft's rather massive Nether rework has now finally been unleashed. Expect to see a variety of new biomes to explore, hordes of Piglins to either befriend or face off against, as well as the strongest crafting material yet - Netherite.

As you might expect, getting Netherite gear won't be as simple as smacking some blocks with your pickaxe. Instead, you will have to venture in to the lower depths of the Nether in search of ancient ruins, carve them up for pieces you can refine into Netherite scrap in a blast furnace, and then combine four of those Netherite scrap with four gold ingots in order to make a single Netherite ingot. All of that effort will be worth it, however, as once you're done you'll be able to greatly enhance any diamond armor, weapon or tool!

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is shaping up to be positively delightful

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time official artwork

[Update #2]: Crash Bandicoot 4 will be slide-jumping onto PC in 2021.

[Update]: Contrary to the rumors, Crash Bandicoot 4 will not have microtransactions.

While this shouldn't come as too much of a surprise given how comprehensive the recent leaks were, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time has now been officially announced. You can expect to see it land onto both the PS4 and Xbox One this October 2nd, with the PC version lagging slightly behind as usual.

As for the actual gameplay, I'm very happy to say that Crash Bandicoot 4 will be following in the footsteps of its predecessors. Expect to see a variety of new power-ups, multiple playable characters including Crash, Coco and Cortex, as well as a whole assortment of colorful levels to endlessly replay in order to collect all of the dastardly boxes.
