[Update]: Minecraft Dungeons has now added cross-platform multiplayer, with saves coming soon.

When the Diablo inspired Minecraft Dungeons launched for PC and consoles back in May, Mojang immediately announced that they are working on cross-play support. Quite a few months have gone by since then, but I'm happy to say I bring good news from that front!

According to the recent and rather brief announcement, cross-platform play will arrive this November 17th for all versions: PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. And as you might expect, this means you'll be able to join forces and play together regardless of what platform you're on.

The one thing I don't know is whether this cross-platform support will also extend to save files. I certainly hope so, because being able to freely swap around without losing any sort of progress would be wonderful, especially when you're on the go.

Whatever the case may be, I'll make sure to let you know once cross-play arrives next Tuesday. Until then, however, I'll leave you with the most recent developer diary discussing the Howling Peaks DLC. Enjoy!
