Guild Wars 2 devs have detailed how the End of Dragons expansion Legendaries will work

[Update #2]: After the success of the new expansion, Guild Wars 2 devs have now announced their plans for the future.
[Update]: It's official, the End of Dragons expansion will be launching on February 28th!
Given that it is incredibly easy to acquire near-perfect endgame gear in Guild Wars 2, fancy-looking Legendary weapons serve as more as a fashion symbol than anything else. Unsurprisingly, each of these Legendary items thus comes with its own unique model, cosmetic effects, custom animations, and naturally, an absurd list of requirements to really make it feel special.
While the Legendaries in the End of Dragon expansion will function mostly the same as the previous ones, there will still be some notable differences. First and foremost, there will not be any underwater Legendary weapons, though the sixteen other ones you will be able to acquire will each come in six different flavors!

Even though the remastered version of Quake launched all the way back in August in a remarkably good state, the developers are still releasing updates for it! Best of all, unlike the previous one that mostly focused on quality-of-life improvements and bot support, the freshly released update is all about bringing in new content!
As such, you can expect to see a brand new Horde Mode and the popular 'Honey' mod added in, both of which were created by Wolfenstein studio MachineGames. First things first, here's a brief teaser showing off the new Horde Mode:

[Update]: Mimimi's next game Shadow Gambit will be a fun mixture of pirates, magic, stealth and strategy!
If games that combine strategy and stealth in equal measure tickle your fancy, and especially if you're a fan of the oldschool Commandos series, you might be interested to hear that Shadow Tactics is getting its very first expansion today - Aiko's Choice. The standalone expansion will bring with it a variety of new missions to undertake, a highly specialized team of characters that all play an important part, and most importantly of all, maps that offer plenty of different ways to approach each objective and obstacle.
Rather than babble on, allow me to share with you two of the recently posted previews. The first is a fairly standard gameplay trailer that will give you a better idea of what Aiko's Choice will play like, while the second is a developer-guided FAQ detailing some of the new features. Have a gander:
Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition update has added HD models & textures to the classic RPG

In an update that I must admit comes as a rather pleasant surprise, Beamdog has recently unleashed a nice and chunky graphical overhaul for Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition. After several years of hard work, the freshly released update has now added HD character models & textures to the game, which as you might judge from the two screenshots, really do look quite lovely considering how old the game truly is!
However, while all of the new models are fully customizable and can be further modded by the community, there is a chance the HD Pack might not play well with your current (and likely considerable) list of mods. So if you do decide to grab it, I'd recommend first backing everything up before installation, just to be on the safe side.

In order to give everyone a little bit of a break from the endless stream of Total War: Warhammer 3 announcements, Creative Assembly have now revealed a brand new expansion for Total War: Troy - Rhesus & Memnon. As the name would imply, the next DLC will bring with it the Thracian tribes led by Rhesus, and the mighty kingdom of Aethiopia along with its ruler Memnon.
Each faction will also bring with it a whole assortment of themed campaign and battle mechanics, as well as 49 new units in total to play around with! You can get a little bit of a sneak peek at what these units will look like in action, as well as what Rhesus and Memnon are all about, through two of the recently posted trailer. 15 years after its original launch, Titan Quest has just received a new expansion - Eternal Embers

It's quite funny how things work out sometimes. Despite being the underdog even back when it first released in 2006, Titan Quest has managed to make such an impact that now, well over a decade later, there is still enough interest in it to warrant creating a brand new expansion!
The freshly released Titan Quest: Eternal Embers brings with it four new chapters inspired by Chinese and Egyptian mythology, fifteen additional side quests, as well as a massive assortment of new loot to acquire. You can also expect to see a whole bunch of new enemies and bosses, a variety of powerful new potions, and even a brand new mastery - Neidan, a mystical alchemist who uses a deadly combination of concoctions and spells to wreak havoc upon their enemies.

[Update #2]: As a small holiday present, Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning has added a new Arena Mode.
[Update]: The Fatesworn expansion has now arrived, and so far it's looking like a fairly solid addition.
It has been over a year since Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning's Fatesworn expansion was first announced, but the long wait will soon be over. Once Fatesworn arrives this December 14th we'll be able to venture into a brand new region filled with mysterious landmarks to discover, new storylines to unravel, hordes of baddies to beat up, and copious amounts of gear and weapons to hoard.
You can also expect to see the level cap raised to 50, a new Chaos based skill, as well as procedurally generated Chaos dungeons to dive into for that juicy, juicy loot. While the recently posted trailer sadly doesn't showcase all of this in action, it'll at least give you a better idea of what to expect from the story side of things. Have a gander:
