[Update]: God of War has now landed onto PC, and so far the port seems remarkably solid.

God of War, one of PlayStation 4's biggest hits, is coming to PC on January 14, 2022. It'll bring with it 4K support, an unlocked framerate, improved reflections and higher resolution shaders, as well as a whole assortment of other graphical settings and upgrades to mess around with.

So if you're wondering whether your PC will even be able to run God of War, wonder no more as the developers have now detailed the PC system requirements. Here's the brief rundown, including the targeted performance:

Minimum

Avg Performance - 720p @ 30 FPS
 Graphics Settings - Low
 GPU - Nvidia GTX 960 (4 GB) or AMD R9 290X (4 GB)
 CPU - Intel i5-2500k (4 core 3.3 Ghz) or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 (4 core 3.1 GHz)
 RAM - 8 GB DDR
 OS - Windows 10 64-bit (version 1809)
Storage - 70 GB HDD (SSD recommended)

Recommended

 Avg Performance - 1080p @ 30 FPS
 Graphics Settings - Original
GPU - Nvidia GTX 1060 (6 GB) or AMD RX 570X (4 GB)
 CPU - Intel i5-6600k (4 core 3.5 Ghz) or AMD Ryzen 5 2400 (4 core 3.6 GHz)
 RAM - 8 GB DDR
 OS - Windows 10 64-bit (version 1809)
 Storage - 70 GB SSD

High

 Avg Performance - 1080p @ 60 FPS
 Graphics Settings - Original
GPU - Nvidia GTX 1070 (8 GB) or AMD RX 5600X (6 GB)
 CPU - Intel i7-4770k (4 core 3.5 Ghz) or AMD Ryzen 7 2700 (8 core 3.2 GHz)
 RAM - 8 GB DDR
 OS - Windows 10 64-bit (version 1809)
 Storage - 70 GB SSD

While the requirements seem to be fairly standard, the way the developers have presented them is certainly not, and I do hope this is something we can look forward to in the future as well! After all, seeing the expected performance listed next to the targeted quality is far more useful at gauging whether your PC will be able to run the game well than simply seeing the always-ambiguous "minimum" or "recommended".

You can read a little bit more about God of War's system requirements over at the official website. As for me, I'll leave you with a brief trailer highlighting some of the previously mentioned PC improvements. Enjoy!
