The PC version of the enhanced edition has been out for a while now and it is a massive improvement over the base game, especially in terms of storytelling which was on the bad side of cheesy when Original Sin first launched.
And now the upgraded version has arrived to Mac, Linux and SteamOS along with numerous performance improvements that will be added to the PC version as well. RPG fans rejoice!

The Witness is the brainchild of Braid creator Jonathan Blow and while no extended gameplay videos are available its supposedly a very sophisticated puzzle game with systems that slowly build upon themselves to create more and more complex puzzles.
And despite the release date looming ever closer the system requirements are some of the biggest pieces of news that the Witness team released in recent time. Here's what type of a rig you will need:

Much like how it went down last time the Steam Sale Recommendations are here to showcase you the best deals and most interesting games available in today's Steam Winter Sale.
Given that this Steam Sale doesn't actually have sales spread across different days I will focus on the first two sections which rotate daily and as such will give you a nice and broad spectrum of games. Naturally, if I come upon a deal that isn't a part of the first two sections but I believe is well worth your time, rest assured I will let you know.
With that said, let's start with the first day of the Steam Winter sale:

I don't tend to cower these sort of bundles very often, mostly because they're filled with gaff, but today's one has a lot of value packed in so I figured I would share it with you guys.

In the light of recent HTC Vive delays its good to see that the Oculus Rift is still on track because even though I probably won't be among the earliest adopters I am still incredibly excited for all of the gaming doors VR tech will open.
In a conversation on twitter Palmer Luckey, original founder of Oculus VR, talked about the current progress of the Rift as well as when you can expect preorders to become available. Here are the full quotes:

When I set out to check my email today I didn't expect I'd see a piece of news that would simultaneously make me both depressed as well as oddly happy.
That Dragon, Cancer is a game that takes you through the terrifying experience of having a child with cancer from the perspective of the parents that actually had to go through it themselves. The one happy note in all of this is that its coming out on January 12th, Joel's birthday, as a digital memorial for him and his struggles.

Aviary Attorney was supposed to release last week, December 18 to be specific, but due to a rather big bug with the save system it was delayed until recently. Given that many have waited over a year for it to arrive since its Kickstarter campaign concluded the extra few days passed easily.
Now, with Aviary Attorney finally released you will be able to find out what exactly Victorian era birds know about law and justice. I will have a first impressions article/video later tonight or tomorrow morning but for now here's a short overview of what Aviary Attorney is:

I was really in to Awesomenauts a year or so ago, it being one of the few MOBA games I can play without a full team of friends and still feel like I'm actually accomplishing anything, but I slowly phased it out as other games came along. What's great however is that even though I forgot it exists, the community in Awesomenauts has been apparently stable enough to warrant an expansion.
So I am happy to let you know that Awesomenauts - Overdrive has been announced bringing with it better graphics, three new heroes, better matchmaking and server stability, a new map and finally, a community designed hero.
