While I am not the biggest fan of fighting games, I have enormous respect for Skullgirls as it has managed to wrestle its way in to the fighting game scene purely through the strength of its gameplay and the stylish art work, there was no big name to push it through.
And if that wasn't good enough already, the previously PlayStation exclusive Ultimate Edition of Skullgirls is making its way to Steam tomorrow in the form of the 2nd Encore Update. Here's the brief trailer and what exactly you can expect from the 2nd Encore:

I don't think anyone is surprised that Titanfall 2 will once again be featuring the iconic mechs, but I'm sure many among you will be delighted to know that some of those mechs will carry gigantic swords!
This little tidbit of information comes from the recently posted Titanfall 2 teaser trailer, which is a nice word for "announcement of an announcement". Still, its a rather nifty thing to behold, so have a look:

Every single bit of information the developers behind No Man's Sky released so far was related to exploration, aliens, and sometimes even exploring aliens, but never did they go in to detail on what exactly you do in the game.
Thankfully, that is no longer the case as IGN has managed to sit down one of the developers, and over the course of a 20 minute long video go over the various gameplay features such as: gathering and crafting, combat, trading, and why exactly you want to explore these randomly generated worlds. The latest Rust update brought with it lighting improvements, numerous map changes, a whole bunch of balance and gameplay fixes, and most importantly, female models after promising them many months ago.
While that would be a perfect update on its own, Rust has managed to stir up the community by removing the character creator, and permanently assigning everyone their gender, appearance, and penis size (you read that right) based on their Steam ID.

Despite never playing any of Evolution Studios' titles (MotorStorm series, Driveclub, etc.) it was still rough hearing about Sony laying off the entire company after having them make well-received PlayStation exclusives for over a decade.
Thankfully, Codemasters have come to the rescue, and have picked up the majority of Evolution Studios employees with the intent to make a company that's all about creating the very best AAA racing games.

The Division's free April 12 update is bringing with it item trading, an end-game Incursion (read group dungeon), daily missions, new Dark Zone loot, and most interestingly, four new end-game sets that come with unique abilities.
If you are wondering what exactly those abilities are, wonder no more as Ubisoft has released all of the details on the seemingly overpowered end-game sets. Have a look:

Its kind of ironic, but the main reason I've gotten interested in the detective-game genre is because of Aviary Attorney, a bird-based lawyering game with a heavy emphasis on investigations, and more than a handful of jabs at the genre as a whole.
Whichever the reason, however, the first bits of gameplay footage from the upcoming Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter look rather enticing to me, though it could also be because of Watson's magnificent mustache which is making me quite envious. Have a look, but not at the mustache, it might get aggressive:

Even though Diablo 2 is still perfectly playable, and in some ways perhaps more polished than Diablo 3, its still intriguing to see someone attempt to modernize its graphics and mechanics.
While the Curse of Tristram mod is still under heavy construction, the lone developer behind it released a rather promising gameplay trailer that showcases some of the locations from Diablo 2, and an Assassin whose legs seem to double as helicopter blades. Have a look:

This gameplay showcase is a supplement to my detailed Dark Souls 3 review, so if you're interested in learning how Dark Souls 3 fares in the eyes of a ~400 hours Souls veteran, give it a read/watch.
As for the gameplay below, it features a trip through a terrifying zombie infested graveyard where the enemies never stop coming, and the only option is to run. Have a look:

We've learned a week ago that the PC version of Final Fantasy XV is not in development, a fact that should surprise no one given that FFXV has been in development hell for around a decade now, before the time when Japanese companies took PC gaming seriously.
However, there is some hope for the PC version as the recent interview with Final Fantasy XV's director Hajime Tabata showed that he is quite enthusiastic about not just developing a PC version, but making it far superior both in terms of quality and technology. Here's the full quote:
