Vermintide 2's Shadows Over Bogenhafen DLC was supposed to arrive all the way back in April/May, but was unfortunately postponed as the developers needed to focus on squashing the numerous bugs that appeared around launch. The wait is now just about over, however, as Shadows Over Bogenhafen will finally be arriving this August 28th for both PC and Xbox One.
The DLC will bring with it two large new maps to explore, a variety of cosmetics and weapon illusions, as well as an absolute ton of balance changes and tweaks. If that sounds right up your alley, you'll be glad to hear that you can now test out the DLC for free, as well as help ensure it launches with as few bugs as possibly, by joining the Steam beta. Simply right click Vermintide 2 on Steam, go into Properties and then Betas, and then just select 'beta' from the dropdown menu. After a fairly sizable download you'll not only be let loose on the new maps, but you will also be able to keep all of your progress and items from the beta!

After a rather lengthy period of silence, Darksiders 3 has finally been pinned for a November 27th release on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. As you can probably deduce from the image above, it'll feature Fury as she carves her way through all sorts of monsters and demons in order to reunite with her fellow Horsemen once more.
If you're wondering what all of that might look like in-game, and if you're curious about the sort of locations we'll get to visit along the way, you'll find some of the answers you seek in the recently posted gamescom trailer. Have a gander:

If you're a fan of Bloodborne or Dark Souls, I'm sure you'll be glad to hear that FromSoftware's next major game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will be coming this March 22nd for both PC and consoles. It'll bring with it pretty much the same sort of design principles and "challenging but fair" difficulty that made the Soulsborne series so popular, though with a far greater focus on action and mobility.
Since trying to explain all of this through words alone is a bit of a pointless venture, allow me to share with you the recently posted gameplay preview/interview, courtesy of IGN. Have a gander, it'll give you a pretty darn good idea of what to expect from Sekiro:

With most of the major Overwatch developers currently in South Korea attending a fan event, I'm sure it won't come as much of a surprise to hear that Blizzard has chosen this opportunity to showcase a brand new cinematic short. More specficially, a cinematic short starring the Starcraft pro and occasional gremlin D.Va!
So if you're interested in getting a tiny bit of lore about D.Va and South Korea's seemingly massive Omnic problem, you'll find the video right below. Have a look, the animation is quite impressive:

Total War: Three Kingdoms is aiming to strike a balance between the completely outlandish Total War: Warhammer and the more realistic Total War: Rome 2 and Thrones of Britannia. However, instead of going for some sort of middleground that would please nobody, Creative Assembly is planning to have two separate game modes: Classic, which will try to be as historically accurate as possible, and Romance which will fully embrace the ridiculous characters and feats you might be familiar with from the Dynasty Warriors series and the various novels.
If you're wondering how exactly the second mode is going to work in-game, wonder no more as the developers have now posted a rather lengthy gameplay preview. Have a look, it's quite an entertaining video:

As announced last week, Ubisoft has now made Rainbow Six Siege fully free to play until August 20th. So if you're interested in seeing what all of the fuss is about, you should head on over to the official website to download yourself a copy, as well as learn a little bit more about it.
Much like the last few free weekends, my recommendation would be to give Rainbow Six Siege an honest try. While the balance might not be perfect, Ubisoft has done an outstanding job of supporting it throughout the years, especially when it comes to the Operators and the unique playstyles they bring with them. So if you don't mind a bit of a steeper learning curve, I do believe you'll have a great deal of fun with Rainbow Six Siege. And if not, well... at least you didn't spend any money to find that out!

[Update]: The PC version has now been all but confirmed.
The Spyro Reignited Trilogy was supposed to arrive this September 21st for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but according to the most recent announcement it has now been delayed until November 13th to ensure it's as polished as possible. As for the PC version, nothing has been said just yet, but much like the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy I think it's safe to say we'll be seeing Spyro a few months after the console release.
"We're deeply committed to getting these games right, so we’ve decided to move the release date of Spyro Reignited Trilogy to November 13, 2018," reads the brief developer update. "I really hoped that you would be rescuing dragons and scorching Rhynocs sooner, but the Trilogy needs more love and care. In November when you’re exploring the Dragon Realms, Avalar and the Forgotten Worlds, we know you’ll agree the extra time was worth the wait."

Only seventeen days have past since the last free weekend, and already Blizzard is announcing a brand new one. So if you somehow haven't given Overwatch a try, or if you have some friends you want to convert to the FPS side, you should schedule some free time from August 23-27 as Overwatch will be entirely free on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
In terms of content, you'll be able to mess around with all 28 heroes (including the newly released Wrecking Ball), all 18 maps, all bazillion different cosmetics that hide within the loot boxes, as well as all of the various game modes including Quick Play, the Arcade and Custom Games. The only thing that will be locked away from you is Competitive Play, though that's not something you would want to jump in after only a couple of hours of playtime anyway.

According to the original roadmap, Vermintide 2's very first piece of DLC was supposed to arrive in late April/early May, but due to most of the developers being busy with hunting down bugs the DLC ended up being delayed. Quite a lot of time has passed since then, and I am glad to say that Vermintide 2 will finally be getting the Shadows Over Bogenhafen DLC this August 28th on both PC and Xbox One.
There are basically no details available as of right now, but according to the recently posted teaser trailer it would appear that Shadows Over Bogenhafen will be much darker and moodier than most of Vermintide 2's maps. Have a look for yourself:

While Rialto is one of my favorite maps, there is no denying the fact that attacking on it can sometimes be a bit of a nightmare. The first point is fairly manageable as there are a couple of flank routes you can take, but once you start pushing towards the second point there's simply no room to maneuver, at least no room that doesn't already contain an enemy Hanzo aiming towards your face. With that in mind, I am very happy to announce that Blizzard will soon be rebalancing the map in order to make it less defense-favored!
"In the past week, Attackers win 42.88%. We always try to balance toward a 50/50 win rate," reads the brief developer update. "We have some minor tweaks we can make to bring the map more in line. We were looking at it late last week and early this week. While it’s not perfect, it’s also not hugely out of line."
