According to the original roadmap, Vermintide 2's very first piece of DLC was supposed to arrive in late April/early May, but due to most of the developers being busy with hunting down bugs the DLC ended up being delayed. Quite a lot of time has passed since then, and I am glad to say that Vermintide 2 will finally be getting the Shadows Over Bogenhafen DLC this August 28th on both PC and Xbox One.

There are basically no details available as of right now, but according to the recently posted teaser trailer it would appear that Shadows Over Bogenhafen will be much darker and moodier than most of Vermintide 2's maps. Have a look for yourself:

While I can't tell you anything more about the DLC itself, I can say that it will be accompanied by a massive free update. As expected, none of the details have been released just yet, but you can expect to see a large amount of bug fixes, greatly improved patrol routes, talent changes and fixes for the broken ones, and perhaps most importantly of all, some much needed balance changes!

Once some actual details surface I'll make sure to let you know, but until then I hope you have fun smashing your way through hordes of filthy ratmen!
