Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice screenshot of the grappling hook in use

If you're a fan of Bloodborne or Dark Souls, I'm sure you'll be glad to hear that FromSoftware's next major game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will be coming this March 22nd for both PC and consoles. It'll bring with it pretty much the same sort of design principles and "challenging but fair" difficulty that made the Soulsborne series so popular, though with a far greater focus on action and mobility.

Since trying to explain all of this through words alone is a bit of a pointless venture, allow me to share with you the recently posted gameplay preview/interview, courtesy of IGN. Have a gander, it'll give you a pretty darn good idea of what to expect from Sekiro:

Given that I am a massive Dark Souls fanboy, it really shouldn't come as much of a surprise to hear that I am beyond excited for Sekiro. Everything from the aesthetics to the way the combat flows feels just right, especially when you introduce the grappling hook and the mobility it brings with it. I'll try and reserve my judgement for when I finally get my hands on the actual game, but so far FromSoftware has done an exceptional job with their action-RPGs, so I do believe Sekiro's future is going to be quite bright indeed.
