Worms 2020 screenshot from the teaser trailer

[Update]: Worms Rumble, the arena-based 32 player madhouse, is set to launch this December 1st.

In a bit of a surprising twist for a series that has had an absurd amount of entries, Worms has been pretty much dormant since Worms W.M.D back in 2016. However, if you thought this was the end of the entire series, you would be wrong as Team 17 has now come to announce a brand new game - Worms 2020.

Unfortunately, this is one of those "a teaser for an upcoming teaser" kind of situations, and as such there is basically no information about Worms 2020 currently available. We don't know what it'll be called, we don't know when it'll release or which platforms it will do so, and we also don't know what type of Worms game it will be - 2D or 3D.

[Update]: Doom Eternal has now been released, and I'm happy to say the reviews so far are pretty darn good.

Doom Eternal is coming to PC and consoles this March 20th, bringing with it a whole assortment of new enemies that are destined to simply explode before the Doom Slayer. However, before you do any sort of exploding, you'll first need to ensure that Doom Eternal can actually run on your PC.

As such, you might want to check out the newly unveiled PC system requirements and recommendations. You can find all of them right below, but before you dive in, it's just worth mentioning that the list will differ from the one printed out on the PC box due to some last-minute changes. With that little bit of warning now out of the way, here's what you'll need to run Doom Eternal:

[Update]: State of Decay 2 and its Juggernaut Edition update have now made their way to Steam alongside somewhat mixed reviews.

This March 13th State of Decay 2 will be making its way to Steam alongside a rather sizable Juggernaut Edition update. Expect to see a new open-world map to explore, enhanced audio and double the amount of music tracks, an assortment of bug fixes and quality of life changes, as well as improved visuals and lighting.

The last part is exactly what the newest developer update is all about, so if you're curious what the Juggernaut Edition really has to offer in terms of visual quality, you can find what you seek in the video below. Have a peek:

[Update #2]: Horizon Zero Dawn has now landed onto PC, though not without serious technical issues.

[Update]: Horizon Zero Dawn devs have revealed all of the PC-exclusive features and improvements!

This probably won't come as too much of a surprise given the recent rumors, but Horizon Zero Dawn has now been officially announced for PC. The details are few and far between, but what I can tell you is that the PC version will come with The Frozen Wilds expansion, as well as a variety of minor in-game goodies.

While there is no PC gameplay footage currently available, you can get a pretty good idea of what to expect from Horizon Zero Dawn through the original launch trailer. Have a gander, it's a pretty fun one:

Warframe artwork for the 7th anniversary celebration

While it's hard to believe it's already been so long, Warframe is currently celebrating its 7-year anniversary! In order to get everyone in on the fun, the developers are now giving away a whole bunch of in-game goodies throughout the entirety of March!

First of all, you can get the new and rather fancy Dex Raksaka armor set by simply logging in. If you're willing to put in a little bit more effort, however, each of the four weeks will bring with it new Alerts that offer rewards from previous anniversary celebrations. Here's what you can expect to see:

If you're in the mood for trying something new, you might be interested to hear that both the economy-based strategy game Offworld Trading Company and the roguelike action-platformer GoNNER are currently free to grab. Simply head on over to the Epic Games Store, create or log into your account, and you'll be able to play them in no time at all.

However, there is a bit of a time-limit when it comes to grabbing the games themselves. As such, you only have until March 12th to add both games to your account, after which you'll be able to play them whenever you want.

Total War: Warhammer 2 Prophet and the Warlock screenshot

If you're playing on the harder difficulty settings, Total War: Warhammer 2 offers a bit of a strange experience. You are heavily limited on how many armies you can field due to increasing costs, while the AI is able to spew out nearly endless waves of elite troops. As such, your only real recourse is to forgo basic units entirely and make all of your armies as elite and deadly as humanly possible.

Obviously, this isn't exactly ideal as campaigns quickly tend to become very samey, which is why Creative Assembly have now released the experimental Proving Grounds update into beta testing. To put it simply, the Proving Grounds update drastically changes everything from campaign balance to unit recruitment and difficulty, all in an effort to spice up the campaign experience as a whole.

Planetside 2 far-away screenshot of the Bastion Fleet Carrier ship

[Update]: The Escalation update has now arrived alongside Fleet Carriers, Outfit improvements, and a whole bunch of other changes.

If there is one thing that separates Planetside 2 from all of the other shooters, it would be the sheer scale of its battles. During a particularly active night, it's not uncommon to see over a hundred players from all three factions fighting it out on foot, in mech suits, vehicles and even airships. However, despite this being Planetside 2's most unique and exciting feature, the game does a surprisingly poor job of pushing players into these absolutely massive battles.

In order to correct this, as well as spice up the gameplay even further, Planetside 2 will be adding gigantic, player-controlled fleet carriers as a part of the upcoming Escalation update. These floating battle-stations will require a significant investment to field, and each empire can only have one active at any given time, but wherever they appear they will most certainly change the tide of battle.

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary official artwork without logo

[Update]: Halo 2: Anniversary is coming to PC this May 12th!

Halo: The Master Chief Collection made its way to PC a little while ago, though unfortunately it ended up being a bit lacking in content. What I mean by this is that the launch version only contained Halo: Reach, while the rest of the series is slated to arrive one by one throughout 2020.

While the exact release dates for each game haven't been given just yet, I am happy to say that Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary has now been added to the collection. The PC version brings with it support for 4K resolutions, a whole bunch of graphics options to tweak, support for both keyboard/mouse and gamepad controls, updated textures and shadows, and the list goes on.

Ubisoft's Roller Champions artwork without logo

One of the most common complaints for Ubisoft tends to be about how similar all of their games feel - criticism they seem to have taken to heart as the upcoming Roller Champions is certainly quite different. To put it simply, Roller Champions is a PvP-focused sports game where two teams of three roller skaters compete to score as many goals as possible, all the while smashing into each other. It's a bit similar to Rocket League in concept, though the actual gameplay doesn't follow the same sort of formula.

Since trying to explain these types of games through words alone is mostly a pointless task, allow me to share with you two of the recent trailers. The first is a cinematic one that highlights the general premise behind Roller Champions, while the second one shows off a bit of the gameplay. Have a look:
