Dragon's Dogma official screenshot

If you're currently stuck in isolation and you need something to help spend the time, you might want to check out the newly launched Humble Bundle. It's filled to the brim with Capcom games, as well as discounts for some of the newer ones, so it should keep you entertained for quite a while.

When it comes to the games themselves, the bundle contains the likes of Resident Evil Revelations 1 and 2, Dragon's Dogma, Resident Evil HD Remaster and quite a few other ones I found myself enjoying. You can find the full list, as well as the pricing tier each game appears in, right below:

Trials of Mana gameplay screenshot of three characters fighting a boss

The upcoming Trials of Mana is a 3D remake of the classic action-RPG Seiken Densetsu 3, the sequel to the rather famous Secret of Mana. The remake will bring with it modernized graphics, voice acting, a remastered soundtrack, a brand new episode that takes place after the ending, as well as a variety of quality of life features.

You can get a pretty good idea of what all of this looks like in gameplay terms through one of the recently posted trailers. Have a gander, it's a rather long one:

[Update]: Blizzard has now added a 100% experience buff for all players until April 20th, so if you ever wanted to level an alt, this would be a pretty good time to do so.

Despite Blizzard doing their best to promote alt characters through Allied Races and reduced experience requirements, Battle For Azeroth still remains rather unfriendly to alts. As soon as you reach level 120 with a brand new character, you essentially have to do a dozen different things in order to catch up, all of which require a considerable amount of time. Nowhere is this more apparent than with Essences which provide a sizable boost to power, yet often require you to do outdated content for weeks on end.

As such, I am glad to say that Blizzard has now introduced an easier way to acquire Rank 3 Essences on alts. Simply complete any of a variety of endgame activities and you will receive Echoes of Ny’alotha, which you can then trade with MOTHER in the Heart Chamber for an unlocked Rank 3 Essence of your choice. It'll take you 500 Echoes to acquire each Essence, but don't worry about this being too grindy as the amount you'll gain by simply playing the game seems to be quite high:

Vermintide 2 artwork for the upcoming Enchanter's Lair map

[Update]: The Enchanter's Lair map has now arrived alongside the very best boss fight in all of Vermintide 2!

I have to give credit where credit is due, Vermintide 2 developer Fatshark has done an amazing job over the past few months. They released multiple balance updates in a row, brought back the lovely A Quiet Drink event, built an easier way to acquire cosmetics, and most importantly of all, unleashed two awesome new maps to explore.

The good news doesn't end there, however, as Fatshark has now announced that the final map in the Curse of Drachenfels trilogy is just about ready to launch. You can expect to see Enchanter’s Lair arrive this March 24th on PC, and much like the previous maps, it will be entirely free for all current and future players.

Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil Resistance official artwork combo

[Update #2]: Resident Evil 3 and its companion Resident Evil 3 Resistance have been released, though sadly they don't seem to have lived up to the high standards set by Resident Evil 2.

[Update]: The demo has finally arrived, and I'm happy to say Resident Evil 3 is looking pretty darn good right now!

A little while ago Capcom announced that Resident Evil 3 will not only be getting a playable demo, but that it will be coming in the "near future". They certainly weren't joking about that last part as the demo has now been slated to launch this March 19 on Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One!

What exactly the demo will contain, and how long it will be, Capcom has unfortunately not clarified. However, given that Resident Evil 2's demo ended up being a massive success, I can only imagine that Resident Evil 3 will follow in the same footsteps. In other words, don't be surprised if its ends up being a 30-minute demo showcasing the introductory portions of the game, all topped off with a brand new trailer at the very end.

[Update #2]: Echo has now been unleashed onto the PTR, and while she's not a support hero as many had expected, she is really fun to play!

[Update]: Echo has been confirmed as Overwatch Hero #32.

If you've been following the recent rumors, then you're no doubt aware that Blizzard is planning to make a major announcement later this week. The exact nature of this announcement is still unclear, but given the most recent Twitter teaser, it would appear to be a brand new hero.

The exact details are still shrouded in mystery, as is the name of the hero itself. However, given that Dr. Mina Liao is one of the founding members of Overwatch and a character that was confirmed to play a big role in the story, there is a pretty good chance she will be next hero to dive into action.

Witcher 3 artwork for Geralt and Yennefer

In a bit of a surprise announcement, GOG has now come out to say they're giving away a bunch of Witcher themed digital goodies. These include artwork, books, soundtracks, the "making of" videos, concerts, and the list goes on for a while.

As for how exactly you can claim all of the items, the answer is thankfully quite simple. Just create or log into your GOG account, go to The Witcher Goodies Collection page, and add all of them to your account.

Borderlands 3 official artwork and logo

[Update #2]: Borderlands devs are working on a more RPG focused spin-off - Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.

[Update]:The latest Guns, Love and Tentacles DLC has now arrived, and unfortunately it's a bit on the short side of things.

Borderlands 3 launched for both PC and consoles back in September of 2019, with the PC version being exclusive to the Epic Games Store. Six months have past since then, however, and the exclusivity period is now over. So if you're not a fan of the Epic Games Store, or if you simply want the entire series in one place, then you'll be glad to hear Borderlands 3 has now also made its way to Steam.

Given how important co-op is to the Borderlands 3 experience, it's well worth mentioning that there is cross-play between the PC versions. In other words, it doesn't matter if you're playing on the Epic Games Store or the newly launched Steam version, you'll be able to blast away bandits and madmen with exactly the same fellow players.

Control concept artwork for the strange Hiss

[Update #2]: Remedy has announced that Control is getting a co-op focused spin-off - project Condor!

[Update]: Control's The Foundation expansion has now arrived, and unsurprisingly, it's pretty solid.

Remedy's Control may have released quite a few months ago, but I'm happy to say that the story isn't over just yet. According to the newly posted teaser, Control's very first expansion The Foundation will be coming this March 26th!

"Explore the roots of the Oldest House and discover strange secrets unknown even to the Bureau," reads the incredibly brief description. "The Foundation doors are open, but some things should remain buried."

Ori and the Will of the Wisps official artwork without logo

[Update]: Ori and the Will of the Wisps PC update has brought in a variety of fixes and improvements.

If you're looking for some Metroidvania-style action, look no further than the freshly released Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Much like it's predecessor, Ori and the Will of the Wisps is a stunningly beautiful action-platformer with a nice a bit of heart to its storytelling, as well as plenty of unique locations to visit.

You can get a bit of an idea of what Ori and the Will of the Wisps looks like in action, as well as what the actual moment-to-moment gameplay is about, through one of the gameplay trailers down below. Have a gander:
