Vermintide 2 artwork for the upcoming Enchanter's Lair map

[Update]: The Enchanter's Lair map has now arrived alongside the very best boss fight in all of Vermintide 2!

I have to give credit where credit is due, Vermintide 2 developer Fatshark has done an amazing job over the past few months. They released multiple balance updates in a row, brought back the lovely A Quiet Drink event, built an easier way to acquire cosmetics, and most importantly of all, unleashed two awesome new maps to explore.

The good news doesn't end there, however, as Fatshark has now announced that the final map in the Curse of Drachenfels trilogy is just about ready to launch. You can expect to see Enchanter’s Lair arrive this March 24th on PC, and much like the previous maps, it will be entirely free for all current and future players.

As always, Fatshark hasn't revealed much about the map itself, but it does appear that we'll be facing off against the Rotbloods’ chief soothsayer and Burblespue Halescourge’s arch-rival Nurgloth the Eternal. I can only imagine this is the plague-infested madman we met during the Blood in the Darkness finale, but if our characters are particularly unlucky, it could even be a fully fledged demon. Personally, I'm hoping for the latter as that would be one hell of a fight!

You can learn a little bit more about Nurgloth the Eternal, as well as follow any future updates, over at the official website.
