Two years later, the Warcraft 3: Reforged team has returned with ranked play, leaderboards and profiles

[Update]: After a lengthy period of testing, Warcraft 3: Reforged has now unleashed Update 1.33 alongside player profiles, leaderboards and ranked play.

After a couple of solid attempts at improving the somewhat disappointing Warcraft 3: Reforged, Blizzard suddenly went quiet and stopped releasing updates. Two years have gone by since then, and with Diablo 2 Resurrected being the shiny new remaster that's getting all of the attention, I wouldn't blame you for assuming Warcraft 3: Reforged was simply left for dead. To be honest, that's exactly what I thought.

However, in a refreshing twist, Blizzard has now returned to Warcraft 3: Reforged with a fresh PTR update! Best of all, they're finally adding some of the features from the original version that were inexplicably missing in the remaster: ranked play, leaderboards and player profiles.

[Update #2]: Vermintide 2 is celebrating its Fifth Anniversary with a free weekend, triple experience and festive map.

[Update]: In celebration of the series' seventh anniversary, Vermintide 2 has just added a frigid new map - Trail of Treachery.

The Chaos Wastes are Vermintide 2's rogue-like game mode where you and your team get to explore a variety of increasingly more challenging and randomized levels. Along the way you'll have to wrangle with both positive and negative modifiers, collect a whole bunch of overpowered upgrades, and naturally, use every tool at your disposal to cleave through ever-growing hordes of ratmen and Chaos worshipers.

In an effort to spice up the Chaos Wastes even further, Fatshark has now unleashed a rather sizable update. The appropriately titled Be'lakor update brings with it the dark prince's influence to the Chaos Wastes, and with it new challenges and modifiers to overcome, along with new rewards for your efforts!

Overwatch 2 devs have unveiled the very first roadmap alongside Junker Queen's cinematic short

[Update #2]: Overwatch 2's newest and surprisingly lengthy animated 'short' is all about Kiriko and what motivates her.

[Update]: Overwatch 2 has now unveiled its very first support hero - the wall-climbing, fox themed healer Kiriko. The Blizzard team has also taken this opportunity to detail Overwatch 2's Battle Pass, hero unlock system, as well as their plans for future updates.

As a part of a recent announcement, Blizzard revealed that Overwatch 2's PvP mode will be going free-to-play and will be decoupled from the story-focused campaign. The latter will release in pieces throughout 2023 (and potentially beyond), while the competitive side of Overwatch 2 will arrive on October 4th, 2022 for both PC and consoles.

For today's update, however, Blizzard have decided to unveil their plans for Overwatch 2's launch and some of the bigger updates you can expect to see. While certainly exciting, I'd recommend you temper your expectations as the amount of content coming with Overwatch 2 is far lower than what the original announcement might have you think. Without further ado, here's the brief rundown of what the future holds for Overwatch 2:

[Update #2]: Total War: Warhammer 3's first post-launch DLC will add four new Chaos factions.

[Update]: Creative Assembly has unveiled the truly massive Immortal Empires campaign map!

After a very brief round of teasers, Creative Assembly has now finally spilled the beans on Total War: Warhammer 3's Immortal Empires combined campaign map. Once the beta version arrives this August it'll bring with it 86 playable Legendary Lords, dedicated factions for a bunch of often-ignored characters like Grombrindal and Volkmar the Grim, new starting locations for 29 of the older Legendary Lords, as well as improved faction mechanics for some of them.

The good news doesn't end there, however, as Immortal Empires will also bring with it 'sea lanes' that allow you to move armies between distant lands and continents without spending fifty turns watching them shuffle around. There will also be new and dynamic end-game scenarios to provide some much-needed challenge once your faction is well established, which includes things like Greenskin invasions and undead uprisings.

All good things must eventually come to an end, and so after seven years of post-launch support, updates and DLCs, Techland is now finally moving on from the original Dying Light. Naturally, they've not done so without sneaking in one final addition - the Definitive Edition.

As the name might imply, the freshly unleashed Definitive Edition brings with it all of the updates, DLCs and The Following expansion bundled into one convenient (and currently deeply discounted) package. If you already own the Platinum Edition you will be automatically upgraded for free, while everyone else will have to either upgrade to the new version of buy individual DLCs if they so wish.

[Update #2]: My Overwatch 2 review is now out, and to put it simply it's a terrible sequel, though thankfully a terrific game!

[Update]: Overwatch 2 has now unveiled its very first support hero - the wall-climbing, fox themed healer Kiriko. The Blizzard team has also taken this opportunity to detail Overwatch 2's Battle Pass, hero unlock system, as well as further clarified their plans for future updates.

After nearly two years of rumors and speculation, Blizzard has now finally confirmed that Overwatch 2's PvP mode will be free-to-play! As for the release date, the competitive side of Overwatch 2 will be launching on October 4th, 2022 for both PC and consoles!

The good news doesn't end there, however, as the second closed beta will be arriving on June 28th! It'll bring with it Junker Queen as a brand new tank, as well as an additional Overwatch 2 map explore. While not confirmed, it's also possible the beta will feature the 'fox girl' teased all the way back during the launch of the Kanezaka map.
