If you're looking to fatten up your gaming backlog for the cold winter months, you're in luck as the Steam Autumn Sale 2022 has now arrived! The big sale will last until 10am PT on November 29th, so you should hopefully have more than enough time to figure out which games to add to your collection.

For those of you completely unsure about which games are even worth considering, allow me to give you a couple of recommendations for some of the cheaper ones I've been playing over the past few months. Here they are, in no particular order:

 The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (-80%, 6€)
 Deep Rock Galactic (-67%, 10€)
 Doom Eternal (-75%, 8€)
 Warhammer: Vermintide 2 (-80%, 5,6€)
 Hollow Knight (-50%, 7,50€)
 Resident Evil 2 remake (-75%, 10€)
Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition (-67%, 6,6€)

Besides the Autumn Sale, Valve has also taken this opportunity to open up the nominations for the annual Steam Awards. In order to participate all you have to do is head on over to the official website, choose your favorites from across a variety of categories, and then hope for the best. The actual voting process will happen during the upcoming Winter Sale, while the winners for each category will be announced on January 3rd.

As always, it's important to mention that the Steam Awards are a primarily community-driven effort and so not only can you expect to see outlandish candidates make an appearance, but some of the winners might not even truly belong to the category they are in. Because of this, it's highly recommended not to take the Steam Awards too seriously. At the end of the day they're less of an awards ceremony and more of a celebration of games as a whole.

Once the big Winter Sale arrives alongside the full list of Steam Awards nominees, I'll make sure to let you know. Until then, have fun messing around with a bunch of new games!
