Dragon's Dogma, a popular console RPG is coming to PC on January 16 with a bunch of PC exclusive upgrades.

I've talked about this before but Dragon's Dogma and its expansion are one of the few reasons I even considered getting a console this past generation. In the end I decided against it but the fact that I'm missing out on such a good game kept nibbling at me.

However, after quite the wait, Dragon's Dogma is just about ready to launch on the PC with what seems to be an incredible port. Unlocked FPS, 4K support, customizable controls, improved graphics and full gamepad support (including Dualshock) - what is there not to like?

Brutal Doom's mod creator showcases destructible bodies and improved gib physics on a bunch of demons

You know how back in the day a lot of parents were riling against Doom because they thought it was super violet and corrupting their children? Well, with Brutal Doom let's just say their heads would fly straight off had they seen even a few minutes of it.

Violence aside, Brutal Doom is a mod that has consistently received updates for many years now, making it one of the rare few long-term modding projects. In a recently released video (embeded below) SGTMarkIV, the mod's creator, showcased upcoming improvements to "gib physics" as well as destructible bodies.

The guys behind Star Citizen have been on a roll lately. Last week they released their alpha 2.0 version with multi-crew ships, FPS combat and spacewalking, then a little while later they passed an absurd 100 million dollars in crowd funding and now they're already showcasing progress on procedurally generated planets.

The video (embedded below) is titled "From Pupil to Planet" and sufficed to say, it looks really damn impressive.

Remastered version of the classic FPS Turok is coming this Thursday, December 17th

I never actually had a chance to play Turok, the classic dinosaur-hating FPS that first released in 1997. This was in the dark age of gaming where you depended on physical copies and for some reason the only local store has exactly 5 copies that sold out instantly...

Now with the remaster releasing this Thursday, 17th of December to be specific, it would appear I'll finally have a chance to see what all the fuss is about. Here's a list of the improvements the remastered edition is bringing to the table:
