Steve Jackson's Sorcery! Part 3 - PC Version Review

[Note] You can find my review for Sorcery! Parts 1 & 2 here.
It is quite fascinating to see how much the Sorcery! series has changed from game to game. Part One is a fairly linear affair that offers you a choice between a variety of branching corridors, Part Two takes things a bit further by giving you a large open city to roam around in, and Part 3 completely rips off the training wheels by dumping you in a massive zone that you can explore in any direction, both in the present and the past.
The almost limitless freedom doesn't simply apply to the exploration aspects of Sorcery! Part 3, it also extends to the amount of choices you're able to make when interacting with other characters and solving problems. For example, in Sorcery! Part 1 if you get attacked by a bear you can use the LAW spell to pacify it and then quickly make your getaway. In Part 3, however, you can use the LAW spell to not just pacify the bear, but to use it as your own personal mount with which you can cross wast distances unimpeded, because let's face it, whose going to stop a guy riding a bear!

I'm incredibly happy we live in an era where indie games made by small teams can achieve massive success, as noted by Vermintide and its 500,000 copies sold, Firewatch and its 500,000 copies sold in its first month, and now SpeedRunners with a whopping 1 million copies sold on Steam alone.
In order to celebrate such a momentous achievement, and the upcoming April 19 launch, the developers DoubleDutch Games have listed out all of the new features coming with the release version of SpeedRunners:
A Few Early Screenshots From The Upcoming Underworld Ascendant Have Been Revealed

I've had the Ultima Underworld series recommended to me multiple times as great examples of the dungeon-crawler genre, but unfortunately they are so dated by today's standards that they are nigh unplayable. This is where Underworld Ascendant and its successful Kickstarter campaign come in to play as the developers are promising a modern sequel with all of the elements that made the classics... well, classic.
And after waiting for what feels like an eternity in Internet years we are now finally able to see the fruits of their labor in the form of a few screenshots that showcase the boneheaded enemies you'll get to square off against. Here they are, along with a brief comment on the art style from the Art Director Nate Wells, who previously worked on the Bioshock series, The Last of Us, and System Shock 2:
The Siege Of C-J6MT Is A Fascinating Video About One Of EVE Online's Biggest Turnarounds

EVE Online might not be the most interesting game in the universe to play, but when it comes to producing truly fascinating stories there is simply nothing that can match it.
The Siege Of C-J6MT video is a stellar example of this as it manages to condense over a month of intrigue, plotting and fighting in to a five minute long video that is an absolutely captivating experience. Have a look, its well worth the time:
The Greatsword Of Artorias From Dark Souls Has Been Recreated With Real Metal In Its Full, Titanic Glory

I think we can all agree that Artorias the Abysswalker is by far the most badass character in all of the Souls games. He went straight in to the mouth of hell itself, sacrificed his own life in order to ensure that his canine companion survives, and when he finally returned as a mere husk of his former self he was still strong enough to mop the floor with pretty much every Dark Souls player while only using one hand!
And what better way to commemorate one of the best swordsmen in the Souls universe than by recreating his fabled greatsword with real metal in its full, titanic glory. Here's the video showcasing how exactly the sword was made, and how unwieldy it is to use for us mere mortals:
The Bunker Is A Live Action Psychological Horror Game That's Releasing In 2016

Back in the 90's this would've made me shake with dread, and not because I'm not a fan of scary games, but rather due to my fear of crappy FMV ones that somehow got made in the hundreds and infested every corner of the local video store.
Things are a bit different these days, however, as doing a game entirely in live action is not something many have attempted in the past decade, so here's to hoping The Bunker manages to pioneer an entire new style of gameplay. For now though, here's the trailer and the plot synopsis:
Black Desert Online's Next Expansion Will Feature A Wast Explorable Ocean And Playable Dark Elves

Black Desert Online is a game I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with, but ever since the free Mediah expansion arrived there is so much content available to players that its hard to stay angry at it.
Things are set to become even better in the future as Pearl Abyss (the developers) recently held a press conference in Soul announcing some of the biggest changes and additions coming to Black Desert Online. Thankfully, DualShockers translated the entire announcement to English, so if you're looking for all of the details on the upcoming features I recommend you head over there, I will cover only what I believe are the biggest additions:
